"I came here for breakfast and recieved the absolute worst service. She was super dismissive and the place was empty. I ordered a a western omelet with beef sausage and cheddar cheese (I don't eat pork). She brought back an omlette with beef bacon and without cheese. I asked how could this have happenend, she gave no answer for it. Also, I asked for a seltzer water before I even ordered food but I never got it. They charged me for cheese I never got. They tried to make it up by offering me pork sausage. At that point I was done. I paid the check to be respectful but I had to leave. I was actually looking forward to coming here's I just moved two blocks away. But stay clear away from this place. Also, when I walked in she got someone else's order wrong as well. The person ordered extra bacon but didn't get it. The waitress is the worst."

"The services was really good at this diner, the waiter would check on my table regularly. The food was prepared in a timely manner. The rice was good because of the seasoning coming from the vegetables. However, the ribs we slightly tough, the vegetables were drowned in seasoning, the fries we slightly soft. I prefer my fries crispy but I love fries so it didn’t bother me. Overall, the food was edible but the taste was not the best. I would give them a second chance since I dined at 12-1am in the morning."

"Went with my nine year old. The food was good and the server was really nice but it was disappointing to hear members of the staff (or friends of) telling each other racist jokes. Neither me nor my kid enjoyed hearing "why black guys don't do push ups in the gym" or about "wetting a black person's lips and sticking them to a wall." I don't care what someone's personal views are, that's their dysfunction to deal with on their own. It's highly unprofessional and tacky to make jokes like that around a child to whom I had to later explain why the guys in there would say what they said. Especially after at one point he was raving about how great the food was. I just paid and we left. I'll never spend another dime at Ideal Diner again."

"Hard to get a seat and the barmaids, always on the run. Hard for just 2 to handle. Otherwise, fricking awesome! Beautiful, clean and just homely like."
