Reviews of Saison
"It was only after we ordered that I began reading all the recent bad reviews. Our experience tonight: The best first: dinner was excellent and ready in 17 minutes. We we able to sit without a wait. The fair: I'm not a big fan of having to tip prior to even seeing an employee. I get it: no contact payment, but still. The service was non existent. Food placed in front if us, then gone. Pricing was steep airport pricing. Would we stop again? Maybe. The saving grace was the decent meal delivered quickly."
"I ate here because everytime I searched for "Liberty airport dining" this place came up as highly recommended. I'm glad I listened to the reviews because the French Dip I ordered was superb and the overall ambience was just right: lively but still intimate with brisk, friendly service. I'm already looking forward to eating there again."
"This place serves overpriced, yet horrible food, very slowly, and has the audacity to ask for tips upfront. I had Eggs Benedict as the main dish. One egg came out just right. The other was overcooked and fully set (while being cold at the same time). The side potato is lukewarm. Then I had creme brulee as dessert, and I couldn’t force my self to have the second bite. There was more sugar than custard. The custard was also fully set and had the consistency of a cooked yolk. I could have sworn it tasted weird too, if not for the disgusting burnt sugar taste. That’s right, the sugar was burnt, not caramelized, and uncooked at the same time. Maybe I’m just not accustomed with the US tipping culture. But I expect good service in return for my tips. In this case, I just feel like I was robbed."
"Excellent food and atmosphere. Stopped in for some breakfast before my flight. The restaurant has a wonderful French cafe feel to it with lovely decor and comfortable seating and tables as well as a nice large bar with seating. Tried their eggs any way plate with a choice of meat and it comes with potatoes and toast and it was delicious. Eggs were cooked perfectly , light and fluffy and delicious with wonderful potatoes and Canadian bacon and toast and portions were large and filling. You get your money's worth. We also ordered their bagel and lox with a side of scrambled eggs and it came with a side salad. Bagel and lox with cream cheese was excellent and the eggs were perfect with a nice salad. Coffee was very good and not weak and it was wonderful. Service was fast and friendly. I Love the background music that fit the restaurant theme so well and made the experience very nice. Very pleased with everything. Loved it."
"On a layover, we stopped to eat at this French themed restaurant at terminal C. The steak frites were alright but expensive at $50! Be prepared to cut the steak with a plastic knife, but that's life now at the airport. Ordering is with a QR code and the server appears from out of the back with your food. My wife ordered the chicken club and it was OK at ONLY $25. Next time I'd try the Italian place next door as the pizzas looked good."
