Dawn and Nova Motel

"i liked it there but the few things i hated was when i was staying with fh majorette group everyone was complaining there was bed bugs and my room had it to! i hated it but also liked it!"

"Great location being across the street from the boardwalk. The rooms are basic but overall pretty clean. The beds are terrible. Feel like hospital beds. I think i would have been better off sleeping on the floor. Front desk person was pleasant and courteous and the price was decent"

"The new management sucks big time. I used to always come to this motel when it was under dawn and nova. But since sun set took over its just plain garbage. I made a reservation in the middle of June for the middle of July. Unfortunately something came up and I had to cancel. I canceled 2 days after making my reservation. I was told that I would be charged half of the total amount from my reservation. I asked them what kind of policy hat was because every one lets you cancel up to 2 weeks before and they told me "well that's the policy". I had to notify my credit card company to dispute the charge when it comes through. To make matters worse one month later I get 2 calls from them saying I had a reservation and I had not shown up. If I didn't call I would be treated as a no show. How in the world does that happen when I canceled my reservation right away. This new management are a bunch of idiots and thieves. I will not be going their again!!!!!! People beware."

"Horrible! We made reservations months in advance for beach blast weekend in June 2016 and called to add a day on and apparently our reservation no longer exists because Dawn nova was bought and made sun set motel. They took deposit when reservation was made. No one contacted us to inform us of change and man on phone was very ignorant and hung up instead of trying to make the situation right. So now have to call to get charge reversed with credit card company. Shame how many more families are in the same situation and are unaware."

"Never in my life have I had as terrible service as I had here. The staff was rude and confrontational. After arriving from out of state, I had a terrible time being let into my room that already had my friend checked in. There were several threats from the staff to have the cops called on me and even though I had paid for the room I had to leave the property and sleep in my car! Absolutely astonishing how terrible their business treats their customers."
