"Lets say this:this center (the 162th street location of the same organization) has a double standard rule, some parents are allowed to bring their child from the opening to the closure ,and some other got to leave their child for a total of 8h and thats it ,they will start to harass you over the phone ,forgetting that a full time workday in the US is 8h also,if you want to be able to fit in their schedule ,u have to work part time. Also the latino kids and their parents are treated way much better than the rest by the director and her team ,especially no consideration for africans parents, they dont even answer when you greet them, but when a spanish speaking parent goes by, here we go with the loud conversation in spanish the " official language" at this school... this is a gossip club too with the typical angry females with ghetto attitude ,they dont have no skills at all in customer service, plus no consistence in the schedule ,they give themselves too much off days in the year, one friday in the month for staff developpemt meaning as a working parent u have to make a paid arrangement elsewhere so you can go to work, friday after thanksgiving is off for them etc ,one time their staff dev meeting was Thursday and Friday ,and if they have a trip you got to manage to come pick your child before the regular time ,come on...it is not a stress free place ,always asking for some type of monetary assistance thru events or mandatory fundraising or making us buy this and that color outfit for a certain celebration,as far as i am concerned ,acs is helping me paying thru voucher meaning i am not rich so i cannot afford all those things ,i just need a daycare ,a plain daycare so i could work without being disrupted...but they have some excellent teachers though , for the 2years old classes like Ms Miller, she is a top notch teacher, all parents love her and the other 2 years old teacher next door, they are very fond of children so it is an easy job for them ,not sure for the other teachers...i cannot wait to take my child away from this place. If you are looking for a place where your child can stay without "complications"while you are working ,find something else"
