Reviews of Sea Isle Inn
"Pool was amazing after a day at the beach. Rod at the pool was very polite and accommodating with any and all issues! Night life was fun with live music and plenty of bars to get a drink. Sergio was great too, good food and drinks!"
"We have rented at the Sea Isle Inn several times and have really enjoyed the stay. Accommodations- rooms are clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. Pool- sparkling clean, large enough to prevent crowding, very refreshing. Service- excellent, responsive, polite and accommodating Location- perfect"
"The Inn is what you expect from a motel in any of the Jersey Beach towns- old, but it is charming. This is definitely the place you want to stay if you are a drinker,as there are several bars on property and a liquor store around the back. The pool is awesome. The MAJOR complaint that I and everyone else I talked to has? The mattresses. These are THE absolutely worse mattresses that I have ever slept on, and that includes a 90s Bates Motel we stayed at enroute to Niagra Falls Canada back in 1995. That place was just scary, but at least the mattress wasn't plywood. These mattresses are clearly the original mattresses from when the Sea Isle Inn first opened. They are stiff, the box spring has seen its last day 20 years ago, friends said theirs literally buckled in the middle. I mean, if you're going to keep mattresses and not replace them every 10-20 years, at least get some 3" mattress pads to try to siften the blow to your knees when you go to sit on it, otherwise you may tear a meniscus. Unfortunately businesses like this know they can save their money on these types of upgrades because during the summer months, people will pay top dollar to sleep on concrete if that's all that's available and motels are an inexpensive choice for a couple or 2 friends as opposed to a larger condo for so much more money. The Inn also didn't offer much more than a bed and room. There was no hair dryer (which I needed, as I was down here for a wedding!), no iron, bathroom essentials, no microwave (I believe, there were different room options to get one). So be prepared with packing heavy! The Inn overall was decent, it's taken care of and you have everything close by-beach, food store, drug store, food options & good coffee. They should REALLY consider upgrading those mattresses. It is time!! You are making money hand over fist, now give back to those that put that money in your pocket!!"
"It's a nice older place that I happen to love. Great location and the staff is helpful and friendly. If your looking for fancy this isn't it but some of the review I read were a bit much... I've stayed her for the last 5 years for a weekend bar bike ride and never had an issue."
"This was a last minute decision I will never make again. The appearance on the outside is deceiving, they put more effort into making the bars and outside areas appealing but when you step into the rooms you immediately get a gross feeling. The floors are dirty, the shower never gets hot, the shower curtains are dirty and I can’t forget the rusted shower pole. The beds are hard with springs in your back, the refrigerator inside is all rusted. The list goes on, my favorite is the ceiling crumbling over the kitchen table . There was ceiling paint chips all over the table everyday. I could not wait to check out of this place. We almost left early but stuck it out for my sons vacation. I don’t know how they pass inspection (or do they). Never again will I stay there ."
