"Having been fortunate enough to enjoy meals at a number of phenomenal fine dining establishments, this stands amongst the best! The great company we enjoyed the meal with made it all the more special but the food experience was exquisite, without the awkward stuffiness of white tablecloth establishments… the tasting course was memorable, delicious, elegantly and lovingly crafted within eyeshot, and wonderfully put together. Stylishly served, with all of the staff authentically enthusing and describing dishes, and amplified by excellent wines lovingly paired by the friendliest of sommeliers. They also easily accommodated my wife’s pescatarian diet with delicious alternatives - the truffled buckwheat pasta was truly delicious, I had to steal some! The Wagyu beef was phenomenal and a real treat! This place is too new to have those pesky Michelin stars but they deserve them. I suspect getting a reservation here will get increasingly difficult, and deservedly so. Go now, while you can. And thank you to the whole team who prepared and served us such a wonderful dining experience."
"Right now, this place is Brooklyn’s best kept secret (but not for long)! Most incredible dinner we’ve had in a very long time — and we’re NYC food snobs. This place deserves 3 Michelin stars. The incredibly thoughtful service alone was enough to warrant a return visit. But the food and drink — wow, so so so inventive and memorable. We were blown away. Book your reservation right now — this place is going to have a long waitlist pretty soon!"
"Dinner started 20 mins late because we waited for one guest. They only had one chef prepping and plating all the dishes so the gap between courses took to long. Some dishes were lacking and some were great. The uni was overly sweet though. Like overly sweet. Was hoping for better dessert courses but got two kinds of ice cream/sorbet instead. Techniques (quenelles)could be better too. Courses didn’t all match the one posted on the website. Probably just a flop but down to try again. The chef and the som were pretty cool nonetheless."
"The presentation of the food was outstanding, and all the courses were delicious. Many dishes had interesting twists, and it was amazing to see one chef prepare everything for every single patron. The meal was somewhat ceremonious in the way cutlery was presented and food was brought to the eaters, and yet it stayed relatively casual, which to me was more appealing. A great addition to the area."
