Reviews of Esther Ashkenas Central Park Early Learning Center
"Well I wrote review last year about how great the school was because the class 12 for student that are 6:1;1 had great aba bcba teachers. This school year ms. Beth Rosenthal the pringle change my son class to 81;1 which the teachers are inexperienced no bcba or ABA teacher all fairly young adults. He didn't get his OT, SP appointed to him. Last year I spoke to her about putting her hands on my child she grab my son from me by the door way, which I came off elevator to face the back door where his teacher picks him up for class, beth walk behide me where there ppl coming in and out drop off teachers parents etc... and grab my child strongly, I said beth he is happy dont make him sad and dont you out a burse on my child she said will his behavior hasn't change take him out the school home. I said his behavior has changed you took him out of class that was able to help to put him somewhere they hound and can't she said no your son is psychotic. I said he 3 years old beth No 3 year old is diagnosed with psychosis you can represent and say you think my child needs a neurological but never mind since he can't come back to the school and you're pulling my son arm give me my son clothes and out of his cubby. Another teacher passed my son clothes we left the building went straight to d.o.e I'm going get justice and report you beth Rosenthal you was suppose to service my child with care and love but instead you use words of hate and degrading to my afro American son. She targets Hispanic parents and black parents and try to make things hard to get what we're entitled a proper education for cpse children. I'm surprised that she is principle working a degree in special education and could name call and shame my son disability."
"Horrible irresponsible staff!!!! They set me up with an appointment to then say they DID NOT!!!! We waited a MONTH to see this school just to be told we never set anything up with them! That is a LIE and a result of lack of responsibility to the staff person I spoke to! I am filing a complaint immediately."
"This is a real good school the best!!! They help my son alot in a matter of weeks with his Speach the staff and teachers are very good is clean they are very careful a very professional they have alot of beautiful ideas and activities I would recommend them"
