"We have been so thrilled with Pinewood Academy for our 4-5month old. We chose Pinewood because of stellar online reviews and enthusiastic parent references. ~5 weeks in, we could not be happier. Miss Jen and Miss Emmie are communicative, flexible, and fun. We really appreciate the flexibility around drop off and pick up times and the frequent photo updates throughout the day. They have responded to any feedback swiftly and enthusiastically. A is very happy at daycare and it is so fun to see her working towards her milestones and making friends with the (slightly older) babies. We would recommend to anyone in JC, including for the littlest ones (A started at 16wks exactly)."

"This is the best daycare. The teachers are attentive, smart, nurturing, and fun. My son attended for a year before we moved to the suburbs, he absolutely loved it and never wanted to come home. He still talks about his “little school” and the teachers and that he wants to go back. He has a lot of food allergies, and had an incident that required the EpiPen at his previous daycare, however I was never worried about him at Pinewood and he never had an incident. I cannot recommend this place enough for your babies and toddlers. It’s small, but perfect. For me a small daycare was exactly what I wanted. The communication with the parents is excellent. It truly felt like an extension of our family."

"Pinewood Academy has been a wonderful discovery for us, providing an excellent environment for our 10-month-old to grow socially and physically. Tucked away in a cozy building on the corner of Van Vorst Park, this daycare offers a personalized curriculum and plenty of one-on-one attention. Our daughter looks forward to attending daycare every day and enjoys the variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including trips to the park and spending time with her friends and teachers. We appreciate the daily photos and videos, the individualized care, and the warm sense of community that Pinewood has cultivated. One of the standout features of Pinewood is their generous extended hour policy, which has been incredibly convenient for our busy schedules. Overall, we would give this unique daycare experience a resounding 5-star rating for its safe, homey atmosphere and personalized approach to childcare in downtown Jersey City."
