"We love ABC!!! Our son has been there for a year and runs in every day, he loves his teachers and they love him too. The administration has always been kind and communicative. He’s learning a ton. Highly recommend!"
"My husband and I absolutely love ABC! Our son joined when he was just 12 weeks old (he's 7 months now) and as a first-time mom I was a bit nervous, but it has been a success since day 1: he goes in with a smile and comes out with a smile. The staff is incredibly friendly (my son adores all of his teachers) and responsive, including regarding my requests for adjusting his nap/feed/wake times as he grows older. We get live updates regarding his naps and bottle/solid food intake, which - again as a first-time mom - I very much appreciate. The staff also makes sure the babies get enough entertainment and organizes special-themed days (such as a culture day). And ABC's hours (8am-6pm) are much better than most other daycares in Greenpoint/Wburg. In summary, we could not ask for a better daycare experience. To ABC's staff: a big thank you!!"
"Eileen was a horrible director. She changed my schedule multiple times without notice, cursed me out and was completely disrespectful to me. The establishment itself would blossom if it wasnt under such poor management. Eileen is absolutely the worst childhood education director I have ever come across."
"Our 3-year-old son has been at ABC since he was 5 months old and we've had such a great experience. So much so, that I thought to myself today, "Oh, I really need to write them a review already." I pulled up their Google ratings and was bummed to see a negative review from someone who doesn't even appear to have a child there. I get it: First impressions are important, and sometimes the back office communication could be better, but they've always been stellar in what's most important, and that's the happiness and well-being of little kids. The teachers are wonderful (saints, really) and I've always found the support staff to be helpful, friendly and understanding (special shout-out to Ms. Eileen!). It's a family-run daycare with a neighborhood feel and it's been perfect for us."
"It says a lot about a place when the director, JOAN MORRIS, is disorganized and extremely unprofessional, and gets offended when called out on it. Having a doctoral degree is not required to successfully arrange an interview, at which she shown an incredible level of ineptitude by sending multiple emails and still getting it wrong. On top of that, making it seem like I was the irresponsible one sending an email afterwards telling me I did not go to the interview. This was a really distasteful interaction, and her academic and job preparation is put in doubt, not because of her mistake but for the way she reacted when she was critiqued. I would definitely not put my kids in this center. Remember, every person is a potential client."
