"Do NOT bring your kids here. They gossip about parents and they literally hire anybody because all their workers quit. Workers get treated poorly/underpaid and are told they can just be replaced. They do not offer any employees and type of training. They hire high school kids or anybody then expect them to be teachers and just scold/threaten them. You can get a job here before your background check even goes through. The two bosses kids are horribly behaved and get special treatment, also bully your kids. They do not care about hiring certain types of people to make sure your kids are in good hands, they care about keeping money in their pockets."
"Building Blocks was a Wonderful experience for my children. It was more than a Daycare. It was a leaning experience. My children Graduated knowing Sign Language, as well as simple Spanish words. The Center is well kept, with a safe and professional environment. I would surely recommend this Daycare."
"I'm giving BBU 2 stars. If it was anything like it used to be when my 9 year old was here in 2011 when she was an infant this place would have gotten 5 stars. However, my 1 year old is here and this place is a complete and total mess. Daycare opens at 6am, I drop my son off by 8am and there are never any care providers on staff. Maybe 2 sitting at the front desk with all the kids sitting in seats next to them. The sign in sheets for the classes are in binders just messy thrown across the front table, when they should be at each classroom while the kids come in and parents can sign because people are using that same table to fill out payment envelopes and the drop box for the envelopes is way back in the cut in a different section. It is extremely messy. Front door is never locked in the mor rings and no one is ever visibly able to be seen inside. With the hustle and bustle of the day it's easy to make mistakes, not sign in, or lose track of things. They arent even filling out payment receipts anymore. So it gets hard to remember if you paid or put money in the box. I'm so mad this place has ended up like this. Also, my son has come home extremely soiled and I've had to change him in the car several times in 1 week after picking him up. It's no wonder why he always have a sleep of diapers left every week. I think I'm pulling him out soon."
"The school is nice HOWEVER what i didnt like was the starting process. I have 4cs, the director won't let children start till she sees the agreement information in the system which also means you don't know if you have a co-pay or not. It takes a good week before program for parents/4cs to put the agreement info in the system which left my children without childcare for a week, then once they finally put it in the system she told me my copay which is weekly & was EXTREMELY HIGH ! you can find a decent provider that charges way less and will let your child start the day the agreement starts vs waiting a week."
"My son is in the Toddler 2 class - He has learned to identify all the alphabet letters both capital and lower case along with the sounds they make, identify numbers one through twenty and can also say them in Spanish, identify colors, and shapes in English and Spanish. Through number recognition, my son is able to read a math problem (i.e. seven plus four equals eleven written as 7+4=11). The school is exceptionally cleaned daily, the hours are perfect and should be able to accomodate any work schedule. They administrative staff are very pleasant, I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and warm "Hi Mom!" no matter what time of day. There is not one bad thing I can even make up to say... I love Building Blocks University !!!!"
