"First time mom and Maternity/delivery was absolutely amazing experience. All my friends were pregnant and went to different hospitals and I’m glad I delivered here. Their experiences compared to mine were very different… I was well extremely well taken care of. I had a c-section and it was my first time ever having surgery. It was a little terrifying for me cause (first time) but all the doctors and nurses were great. Recovery was phenomenal because the nurses really took great care of me. Medication, check ups, and the milestones of recovery was always on point. Also the nurses were so helpful and made you feel special. They all worked together as a team and it lightened the emotional toll it takes on you. The lactation, pediatrician, nurses, and other doctors were all on the same page and it made that overload of information as a first time mom much easier to digest. We were well taken care and never went without here. Thank you"

"I had a great experience at this hospital delivering my first child. Every person that helped and cared for me at this hospital are all amazing and considerate, especially my admitting nurse and mother and baby nurse, Alissa S. As a first time mom, I appreciate all the tips and advices all the nurses gave me in how to care for my baby as well as how to breastfeed efficiently. My husband and I were given meal options every day to pick and I thought it had a lot of options. Most of the food we picked were decent. We got very lucky with our room. It was a corner room and we were told it was bigger than most other rooms with a nice bathroom. There was also a rocking chair that I used to nurse in when I was finally able to walk around. You might want to bring your own wet baby wipes since I was only given dry ones during my stay. This hospital can also get packed and finding parking can take a very long time."

"I visited the ER. Many nurses and physicians were kind and understanding. I was treated and told I would receive an MRI (done for precaution) and discharged. I waited 36 hours for the MRI, and almost another day to be discharged. During this time Valley Hospital would not allow my family to visit (I have a child), and no new care was rendered. Waiting 2 days for discharge (without allowing family) seems inefficient (and inhumane)."

"Will retain a lawyer. Was denied access, made a mistake said my sister was 16 (she’s nineteen) my sister corrected me. Showed the lobby person ID. THE LOBBY ATTENDANT would not allow her to see my father on Christmas Day because since I accidentally said 16 and my sister corrected me and said 19 the lobby attendant named Celeste stated her identification was fake. I was going to call the Ridgewood police to verify it. Was Raul but did not want to create a scene on Christmas. I am going to take this to the top until this individual gets corrective action action taken and or terminated I am also going to request that the hospital states on its website of visitor policies that minors are not allowed to visit a loved one because it does not the lobby lady had to print out a document stating I despise this hospital and it’s policies I despise it’s waiting time we are now in the process of transferring my father to Hackensack hospital avoid this Hospital at all cost even though their services are at par. Good luck on having loved ones visit and good luck getting a nurse and Best of All. Good luck of getting courteous service on a holiday when you want your sister to be accused of having a fake identification."

"Expect 6 hours or more at the emergency room of this hospital for a headache lol . The doctor came to our room and talked to us for couple of minutes like always so why took so long to see a patient while there was no more than 20 patients on a Tuesday at the pediatric section . I think they only had one doctor , the hospital milks the insurance company but don’t provide the efficient services. What a shame , put more than one doctor per shift and that is the least that they can do and when you ask why everything is slow , the staff gets upset and defensive including the doctor who just ignored me and walked away while I was asking her a simple question, this hospital should be in a third world country."
