"Small but comfortable rooms. The breakfast service was great with a nice little variety and the coffee was delicious, with a nice hint of cinnamon. Quick easy access to the beach and restaurants. The pool was clean and larger than what you would expect in LBI. I will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Margaret"

"A beautiful stay! A few steps to the beach the house is SPOTLESS, warm, cozy and beautifully decorated keeping with the historic values. All the beds are in great condition with comfy linens. The claw foot tub was a spectacular soak after a long chilly walk on the beach with great water pressure for showers in the morning. The kitchen was fun to be in and use...it was CLEAN, spacious, great pans, clean fridge the french press coffee maker kruig AND electric perk were all fun to use.. Sliding doors into backyard from kitchen are so convenient & private. The fireplace was a perfect touch for the evening and romantic views of the ocean from the 2nd & 3rd floor patios off the bedrooms are a perfect way to start and end with a little yoga and mental relaxation!. We are excited about out next visit to the Hydrangea House and recommend it for anyone ..singles..couples famlies! Thank you to our 5 star hosts Margaret & Pat⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"It is the best location you could ever stay at and it is really close to the beach. The people there are very kind and nice to you. The breakfast is also really good. The pool there is relaxing and warm. There are two outside showers that you could use coming back from the beach. The rooms are really comfortable."

"I have been frequenting Long Beach Island for longer than I can remember because my parents first started taking me to LBI when I was an infant. Until college, my family would vacation on LBI every single summer, but we never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. As an adult, I have frequented LBI quite a bit through the years, but again, never stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. The only reason I ended up at the Hydrangea House for Labor Day weekend 2018 is because the friends I was introducing to LBI were insistent we stay at a Bed and Breakfast and not a Motel. Having never stayed at one, I agreed to stay at the Hydrangea House at their request, but was anxious about what kind of experience it would be. To be honest...I anticipated having more complaints about the experience than compliments. Boy was I ever wrong!! I don't know what it's like to stay at any other Bed and Breakfast on the island, but what I do know is that the Hydrangea House is now going to be our GO TO spot for ALL of our trips to LBI! The house was immaculate, the room was VERY cozy, the pool was clean, the breakfast was always delicious, but most of all...the family that owns and manages the Hydrangea House are some of the best people I have ever met! They really go the extra mile to make sure that your experience and your stay is a good one! Margaret and Pat are truly welcoming people and they really know how to play host while you stay with them. I simply cannot recommend the Hydrangea House enough. Don't hesitate to book your next LBI stay with these folks. You will NOT regret it!"

"Best quaint house to stay at on the island!! The hostess is very pleasant and makes sure her guests are enjoying themselves. Super clean with a great patio and pool to relax at. Has all the amenities one will ever need. Can't wait to go back!! If there was a 10 star rating we would give it!"
