Spray Beach Oceanfront Hotel

"We booked a pool view room during our vacation Labor day week and were given a parking lot view . The representative at the desk was clueless about Hospitality talent because we had to point out to her many things they got wrong about our stay . Her only response was "OH WELL THAT'S ALL WE HAVE/ CAN DO" . THEIR RESTAURANT WAS CLOSED TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY. No notice about that when we booked. The same unhelpful front desk person also told us they were changing the time the pool closed which was an hour earlier than times posted . The next day when I spoke with management they said that was never a rule and it was the first time they had heard of this. It's to bad this one person made our stay unpleasant because the rooms are newly appointed, thought the shower stall is very cramped. The pool is salt water which is lovely . Posting this as both my husband and I work in the Hospitality business just points out how staff is so integral to the quality of your very hard earned vacation time. Management take notice!"

"Recently renovated hotel rooms are nice but small. Little hard to believe that there is no daily room service unless requested. Unfortunately prices have dramatically increased from previous years so much to the point that we cannot justify the cost of going back. For over $700 a night I would rather fly to Aruba and stay at the Ritz."

"This hotel is a gem! The rooms are brand new with wood flooring. The outdoor, tiled pool is heated and you can go from pool to hot tub with a step over a small bridge. The bar,restaurant and lobby are all brand new and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed the restaurant so much for breakfast, lunch, dinner and poolside cocktails, the food is innovative and delicious. The atmosphere is very chill with alot of families. Added bonus was the walk over the dune to the beach under a white gazebo with wildflowers and huge cedar looking benches...photo opportunities everywhere. We will be visiting again as soon as we can."

"I have been staying at Spray Beach over ten (10) years and it’s my favorite Hotel including the Mariner Inn and Seaside. So this review took many years of preparation lol. I describe this hotel as Sweet and Cozy with a modern and rustic twist. Food and drinks are outstanding. Staff is super nice and helpful. This hotel includes free bike rental when you stay there so hop on a bike and enjoy. Ask for Anthony he is a waiter and also bartender who makes amazing drinks. This hotel is right on the beach with the best restaurant in town. Spray Beach is a win win. Clean rooms, dog friendly and excellent service. Location, location, location, this hotel is in the middle of all the action, walking distance or short bike ride from Bay village and fantasy island. Spray Beach is great. They re-did the Bar much bigger. All rooms were renovated. New bikes, excellent place to stay. Prices went from last year but you get to enjoy a more modern atmosphere with lots of updates"
