"Our third year staying here and it couldn’t be any better. Perfect location for a weekend trip to the beach. Rooms are clean and just what you need for a simple getaway. One block to the beach and several restaurants within a short walk. We will always continue to stay at Lamplight as long as we vacation in lavalette."

"You cant go wrong. Adult and family friendly, clean and quiet. Pool is tiny. Narrow parking spaces. A taste of classic Lavalette. Beach is spectacular!"

"The front desk people were great and friendly. They let my friends and I keep our luggage there before we took the bus home. It’s in a great location too. The only thing is that the pool is small, and I wish it was bigger. Other than that it’s a great place to stay considering it’s a motel."

"Super great. Rooms were big enough and you get a free beach pass for your stay. Bath and beds were very clean and spacious as was the room. Small pool but nice. Great service and price was good. We already booked again in August. Lavalette is a small but very "big" shore town with adequate stores and restaurants."

"Surprised to find out that they clean the rooms once a week. Seems It would make more sense to clean more than less these days. No one informed us when we made the reservation or when we checked in that this was the case. Had to cut the trip short because the bed was so worn out that It felt like we were falling into a bottomless pit. I still have neck, shoulder and back issues a week later. They should at least offer icy hot, Lysol and plywood in the vending machine. And to add insult to injury they left a tip envelope for cleaning."
