"Less than zero stars in actuality. A lot about this place is unprofessional and nasty but what is unforgivable is this egregious fire hazard backstage. From State Farm website: When an extension cord is covered (such as under a rug or within a wall), heat is unable to escape and could result in a fire. Cords can be a trip hazard. See that extension cords are visible and not running across highly trafficked areas. The cords are piled up by the dressing room door, so yes, high traffic area."

"I visited this location today as part of a school trip with my students. We were blessed to witness the amazing production called The Crazy Adventurers of Don Quixote. This production was performed in Spanish and English. I really loved the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Theater. The performers were very professional and sang extremely well. The harmonies were exquisitely intact and all vocals were clearly expressed. My students had a blast. I will be recommending this Theater to many of my colleagues."

"I had the opportunity to stage one of my plays at Teatro LATEA for the New York Theater Festival in the summer of 2023. I love this theater. The staff and administration are very professional and buttoned up. The tech is spot-on and the theater itself is beautiful. The backstage amenities are first class, and the building location is amazing. I recommend Teatro LATEA to anyone looking to stage a show. I also recommend checking out the plays they stage. It's a great spot for theater fans."

"There was a ridiculous amount of rude laughter and chortling during a queer performance involving my partner: theatre directors and other faculty in the audience would not and could not stop snickering whenever a spoken line involved something they disagreed with (pronouns, commentary on queer relationships, etc). It's quite clear how unprofessional and disrespectful the atmosphere is to young up and coming performers: I've had the misfortune of stepping into the audience once, and I promise you everyone I know will be discouraged from performing at your theatre. The only reason this place is getting two stars is because of the talented actors that distracted me from the immaturity and downright disrespect of the performers by the staff"

"Very eccentric inside and out!! My brother perform his One man show Still Naked and the room was spectacular, it fit about 120 people. There was a bar, a studio booth and the seating arrangement was great!! Location was a plus right near the Williamsburg Bridge and train. Parking is hard to find. Overall 5 stars"
