Reviews
"It is a very nice small theatre in which just about every seat is a good one. Of course, it is not just about the theatre structure but the production at the time. The current play is "Jonah" and is very sweet (not for children). The productions there are usually good, some better than others, of course. They do a combination of new plays and revivals of old ones. They take chances, which is sometimes great and sometimes a miss."
"Only been to the 2nd floor theatre. Very intimate, great place for a play about southern horror and a black community in the 1920s. Didn't 100% enjoy the space, but had a good time."
"Great small venue. Polite, courteous staff. If you miss the opening you can watch the play on a large screen with a bar/cafe, then go in at intermission. Great!"
"I went to see the REFUGE PLAYS. First time at this theater. Modern. Chic and very comfortable room my seats. Not like the ancient broadway houses. The play was excellent. Long but two intermissions. And they let you take drinks etc into the theater space. Nicole Ari Parker was excellent in her performance…"
"Went to see Amy and the Orphan. It was a great play. The theatre is nice and cozy. Great views no matter where you sit. There is a small dining area for you to grab a quick bit to eat before the show and during intermission. Coat check is also available."
