"Millie’s World, Inc., is an early intervention center that leaves excellent first and lasting impressions that are beyond expectations to students needs and families. When you enter Millie’s World, Samantha, Stephanie and/or Millie will welcome you and make you feel warm and inviting. I am impressed with everything there early intervention (E.I.) program has to offer, and your child will thrive here if you choose this school. They truly deserve their rank as #1 in New York City for successful E.I. Center services program which consists of ABA and therapists team that offer services to help achieve Child’s IEP goals throughout the year. Millie, the caring TA staff, specifically Geo, Monique, Irene, Stephany and Karen, amongst others, as well as their group of high ranking therapists which offer feeding, speech, occupational and physical therapy, in addition to their ABA program, are a combination of what makes Millie’s World an efficient and successful place for children. Furthermore, the school’s facilities are above and beyond. They have an amazing gym that has an obstacle course for the children to conduct their physical and occupational therapies. The organized classrooms include many learning activities for the kids, that make it fun and interesting, in addition to art activities such as painting, drawing, stamps, amongst other fun things that capture the child’s interest through play. Millie and her staff, known to other parents and I as “Miracle Workers,” because they truly have helped my son and many children strive and succeed in every way. When my son began services at Millie’s World he was non-verbal, and could barely eat or hold a spoon and/or fork more than a couple of seconds, and had frequent tantrums because he would get frustrated due to all these challenges that developed in his early childhood, but with hard work and dedication from the team at Millie’s World he is now able to speak and communicate his needs, which feels like an amazing accomplishment. As a parent, I was able to see the devotion and dedication that Millie has to the children at the school with my own eyes. I am very happy to have found this school with the help of the E.I. coordinator. Millie shares every day personal notes that are written by each TA and therapist about your child’s day. I always enjoy reading them with my son everyday and then celebrating his accomplishments to continue to encourage him. My son is moving on soon to a CPSE program at a new school and we will truly miss Millie and the entire team. We wish they also had a preschool program, which would’ve been ideal. Moreover, I need to mention the bus company, “Happy Days,” which are always punctual and helpful to accommodate your child’s need.” At Millie’s World, Inc., your child will receive the complete package and as a parent you will feel satisfied and proud to say that your child attends and/or attended Millie’s World. As always for your child to continue to succeed in any program it is a team effort and as a parent as long as you follow the recommendations suggested by the team of Millie’s World and at home you read, read, read to your child and do further activities to encourage him and/or her, then it will all be beneficial to you and your child as you will see improvements and results. My two year old son loves his routine of going to Millie’s World and their amazing and dedicated staff. Thank you Millie’s World! "If I can give Millies World infinity stars I would. This is my sons second home. From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted with such warmth and security I knew this was the place! Throughout the pandemic my son regressed in some ways but surely as soon as he went back to Millie and her loving staff he came out so much stronger and smarter! Millie is always cleaning and children are always safe. So happy with transportation as well. My son loves the school bus! If I were you all over again.
