"For it being in the off season 12/21/23 the amount that we paid for a single night was absolutely crazy when you look at the overall attitude of the staff and the condition of the room. Everything about the check in process seemed to be a hassle. I tried to be very talkative and to break the ice so to speak but on the other end of conversation it just didn't really help. When I called ahead before arriving, I asked what kind of availability there was so maybe there would be different room options. The response I got was we have a couple rooms left. When I arrived there, it was a ghost town. There was plenty of options. If you have a family arrive especially with Children in season or not but even more importantly out of season, I'm not sure why you wouldn't give them the WOW factor trying to get them back in season when rates and activities are up. There are newly renovated rooms there and available but the one we stayed in certainly was not. I have stayed in a Motel 6 that was nicer unfortunately. No Breakfast, none of the activities were available or open which I get because of the time of the year but overall, I just couldn't see why anyone would want to go there. I was certainly not impressed by any means. I was excited to stay here as a first time Visitor, but Sadly I don't think I could ever go back."

"The location of the hotel is beautiful, and the rooms are very nice & comfortable. The restaurant staff are all very friendly and helpful but DO NOT GO TO THE HOTEL SPA!!! The manager there is Susan. She's a horrible person. Very unprofessional. The manicure & pedicure staff have no experience whatsoever. A 15 minute pedicure with no color cost us $65.00 with barely a message. I do not recommend you visit the spa. It's a scam and overpriced for the services."

"I have not stayed in the hotel as of yet. But I have had the pleasure of attending two conferences at the Ocean Place Conference Center. The place is beyond elegant. The conference area was able to hold 750 people sitting at round tables. Across the hallway there was a smaller conference room that was able to hold food in a buffet service fashion that feed all of these people. The hotel staff was on top of cleaning and clearing the tables as people were done eating."
