La Quinta Inn by Wyndham West Long Branch

"Place was freezing cold the hott tub and pool were freezing out room was dirty I recommend going somewhere else because this place is horrible 100%... The whole building was freezing no heat was on. We were there for a half hour and could not refund our money!! This place is terrible!! We went down the street and had a great stay 10$ more but security was cheaper and super clean!! Update!! Talked to the manager and he sounded like if had no people skills!! Definitely be calling corporate he definitely should not be a manager!!! Place is a mess needs new people working there! Guy who was working there left the desk for 15 min at a time everyone checking in was angry with him place is a mess!!!"

"The pool was closed “under construction “. Seems like a year as they said the same in June this year when looked a place for Asbury Pride. The room was clean but a few stains and tears on the shower curtain. But nothing to really complain about for a one-night stay… Until I checked my bank statement! They never returned my security deposit. When I called to ask about it, I was advised that I have been charged for smoking in my room. I am not a smoker! When i discussed this with the very rude GM and advised there had to be a mistake as I don’t smoke. He advised this is their policy and I will be charged and disconnected the call. I called again and spoke with another rude desk clerk and advised of the situation. I advised again, I am a non smoker! How do you smell smoke when I don’t smoke! Since I had already talked with the GM I was told there was nothing they can do for me and disconnected the call. These guys are crooks! They offer no proof, no notice and I am out $150 extra over paying for the room for something I didn’t do and have no recourse. Word to the wise…. Have your room checked before you leave the grounds so they can’t bank on you!"

"This location had so much potential but, the staff and the lack of cleanliness completely turned me off of this hotel. Not all but some of the staff was rude & dismissive. At no point during my stay was a manager available to escalate my issue with the staff. The bedding appeared dirty. I don't doubt that the bedding was washed but it is to a point where it has a lot of stains and it's starting to yellow. No matter how much you wash the sheets, the appearance of stains and discoloration is not a sign of a clean room. Truly disappointed in this hotel as I am looking for a hotel in the area that I can rely since I am starting to come to the area often. Needless to say, this location is not an option."

"This has been by far the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. The staff was rude the hotel with sketchy. The cheats had stains. I had bed bugs. I got bitten up. I told the staff about it. They acted like they didn't care they wouldn't give me a refund for the last day that I was sitting there and they charged me $25 a night for my service dog. Never go there the pool never worked the the Jacuzzi never worked. It's so dirty and you get very rapey vibes. I will never go there again."

"Do.Not.Stay.Here! Within 5 minutes of checking into our room, we found a bed bug. If that wasn’t bad enough, the comforter and sheets were stained, there’s no elevators, and there was a stench in the place. If this was a $40/ night motel, then obviously, you would expect some things but at $100/ night, basic cleanliness and bug-free should at least be the bare minimum. The front desk employee tried to be helpful but there’s only so much he can do, especially when it comes to bedbugs. We left and spent the extra $100 to stay at the Hilton down the street."
