The Coding Space
About the Business
The Coding Space is an after-school and summer STEM program located at 461 6th Street in New York, United States. We specialize in teaching kids and teens how to code while developing critical thinking skills in a caring and inclusive environment. Our in-person and online coding classes and camps allow students to have fun, be challenged, and grow as thinkers, learners, and leaders.
Our project-based curriculum covers languages such as Scratch, JavaScript, Python, and more, allowing students to create games, animations, and apps that showcase their unique creativity. We focus on fostering a growth mindset, grit, and the freedom to make mistakes, empowering students to push past their comfort zones.
Recognized by Time Out, Mommy Poppins, and Tiny Beans, as well as featured on Good Morning America and Nickelodeon, The Coding Space offers a supportive space where students can learn from teachers who are experts in Socratic-based teaching and computer science education. We partner with students and parents every step of the way, providing tech support and progress reports to ensure a successful learning experience.
In addition to our regular classes, we also received the 2023 Code 4 Change award for our project using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to address the UN Sustainable Development Goal of Zero Hunger. Whether it's summer camp or fall classes, we believe that coding is the perfect supplement to your child's education, enriching their academic lives and inspiring a love of STEM.
Don't just take our word for it β parents and students alike have praised The Coding Space for its engaging and educational approach to teaching coding. Join us and discover the exciting world of coding with us today!

Reviews
"The Coding Space has been an excellent experience for my child. He started out with one afternoon per week and loved it so much, he ended up signing up for two afternoons per week. The instructors are amazing. They take the time to teach and guide each student, who works at his/her own pace. My child enjoyed starting new projects and every time he completed one, he got to ring the gong. The staff has been also great about communication, pickups, and providing periodic progress reports. I highly recommend this program."
