"Room was very modern and had a nice feeling to it. Was able to get a very comfortable king size bed. Very nice and clean environment. Location was decent, everything was just a bit of a walk away. Subway was outside my window but I honestly enjoyed it and it wasn’t loud enough to disturb my sleep."

"Quiet, clean and newer hotel with a good hot breakfast, comfortable beds and rooms. Very much like that coffee and tea are available in the lobby 24x7. Breakfast hours are long enough to be useful. Real, fully curbed w/glass door shower stalls are a plus, as are the easy-to-use tilt-lid lockboxes in each room (for your computer and jewelry). Had a couple very minor housekeeping glitches that were resolved quickly and with no hassle with the attentive and kind staff."

"Stayed at this location on a family trip to NYC and it definitely didn’t disappoint. The Pros: Clean, Updated, Friendly Staff & Service, Quick & easy walk to the train and great breakfast Cons: The business’s across the street could be loud at times throughout the night. Nothing out of the for city noise though."

"Guests were Smoking in a room Nextdoor and the smoke was coming through the vents to point i was coughing all night and had difficulty breathing. When I informed front desk, they said they “unfortunately couldn’t do anything until another staff member came”… Staff were eating and not making eye contact with guests, staff at front desk were unaware of several policies or ways to advise guests. The prices for rooms are reasonable and it’s an inexpensive alternative to other City regions; unfortunately, the overcharge they try to pull and the poor staff customer service make it a stay I would not recommend. Other holiday inns are wonderful, but this one was an exception. Pros: free breakfast, located 2 minute walk to subway, easy to navigate to city destinations (Times square is ~45 mins by subway but feasible), prices, decent decor Cons: customer service"

"As we planned our family trip to NYC , I had a few requirements ; great location , consistently great reviews, on-site restaurant /bar and the biggie was a sleeping options for three teenagers . Motto hit it out of the park on all. With the compactness of most hotels in Manhattan, it is challenging and can be very expensive to find accommodations for a family of five . My kids loved the loft / bunk room . Our King room w/city view was amazing . The rooms are well designed to provide everything needed. All the thoughtful details matter and def mattered to us. The staff from front desk , maintenance , waitstaff at restaurant were superb. Genuinely helpful and friendly . Having a stylish , convenient & welcoming place to return to after being in those Manhattan streets was awesome ! Thank you!"
