"Had an emergency regarding my child's broken bone, and was referred to this hospital by PM Peds. We got in, were greeted by an awesome team of nurses and doctors, and got my child situated very quickly, after being shuffled their way via PM Peds. Fun details- The IV was introduced to my daughter as a 'spaghetti noodle'. Least frightening needle ever. All steps, including the 'elephant tube' in her nose was explained and adjusted for their comfort. Stickers, stickers and more stickers. Fun decor! Great place to play, "I spy with my little eye" for a few hours... For an emergency for us out of towners, we appreciated the experience the staff -especially the nurses- provided."

"It is NOT a 24/7 pediatric emergency room. It is the normal emergency room. I called asking if it was for children before taking my 11 month old daughter 40 minutes away. When we got there, the same lady I spoke with told me it’s a normal ER and there are no pediatric doctors. It IS just a normal emergency room. Had she told us that when we spoken an hour earlier, we wouldn’t have driven 40 minutes in the middle of the night."

"Awful experience and absolute careless team of women working the Pediatric ER Friday morning on 10/8/21 including the PA we saw. A total waste of such delicate time. My poor 3 y/o daughter suffered over the long weekend until we got in to see our pediatrician Monday morning. I will NEVER trust this place with her life again. Will be worth the drive to Jersey shore hospital."
