"My husband and I opened restaurant spot recently and was on the prowl for some dope furniture. That's when I found Superior Seating. Totally a game changer. I briefed them about the chill ambiance I was aiming for – think a mix of blues and browns. They were on point from the get-go. The team dropped by, sized up the place, and pitched some rad ideas for tables, chairs, and yes, those essential barstools. Tables? Spot on. Chairs? Super comfy and sturdy. And the barstools? Exactly the height and feel I was looking for, making the bar area the star of the show. What's more, they gave me solid advice on the layout so the whole joint flows right and doesn’t feel all squeezed in. End of the day, the setup looks smooth. I've had a bunch of regulars giving props to the furniture, which says it all. "****Anyone trying to replace or buy chairs or stools for home or a business. I would be very very careful dealing with Superior Seating in Kenilworth NJ. Flash back to September 2022…I bought new bar stools and within 3-4 months they were already broken! I called the company which then gave me a long run around and refused to replace the stools. They offered to sell us the same stools but at a discounted rate! Smfh. I then told them I would be calling the better business bureau so they then tell me they would allow me to go to a warehouse to possibly fix the stools. To make it seem like they are trying to help us. This is going on for months might I add. We didn’t finally get the address until last week sept 2023!! The warehouse then states they can’t fix them and still will not replace the stools but we can pay $25 each stool for a different model which don’t match the set we purchased of stools and chairs for our business. Then the sales guy who sold me them Ed said I have to again speak to someone else in the company named Jane the sales manager whiuch was the one who originally gave me the run around (which is the most rude and unprofessional person you could speak to might I add my husband could barely get a word in with her) so once again we are being bounced to someone else with no real solution and they do not stand by their products. This is the worst most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with!! I informed them I will be speaking to our attorney and filing a claim as I have exhausted every avenue to try to fix this situation and keep a good relationship with these people. Do yourself a favor and be careful. The floor models are not what they are sending out. Ed even admitted to us we probably received a bad batch!! Smfh. He then said since I will not take the offer of paying for new stools and taking it as a loss that he will not do anything for us. Absolutely disgusting and disappointing !!"
"Ordered 100 chairs for our business. Ordering process went smoothly. Shipping took just a week longer than expected. Chairs in good shape and Company willing to give me the same sale price to obtain 5 more chairs since I miscounted! Looks like Superior Seating has greatly improved it's customer service!"
"I am so disappointed and frustrated with this order and the lack of customer service from Superior Seating. This is my second order from them and the first time I had no issues at all. The order of chairs arrived, each one wrapped from top to bottom in multiple pieces of paper, plastic, soft styrofoam, etc. We counted the chairs, signed the paper that the driver handed us, and he was on his way. I began to unwrap the chairs, each chair taking about 5 minutes to fully unwrap because they were so well wrapped, and noticed that two of the chairs had damage to the legs, as if they were crushed. I immediately took photos and sent them to Superior Seating on 1/1/22 letting them know we'd received damaged items. On 1/21/22 when I hadn't heard anything back, I emailed them again asking for a status update. They advised that because we'd signed off on the paper from the driver, there was nothing that they could do, but they did offer me a discount to order two more chairs as replacements for $250 + shipping. The person I spoke with literally said that eventually the chairs would become damaged anyway, so she didn’t understand why I was so upset that they’d arrived damaged. I didn’t even have a response because i was so shocked that she said that. I had already spent over $1500 on these chairs and it was a big expense for our small restaurant. I don't understand how they expect me to find damage and write it on the paperwork while the driver is there, when the chairs are fully covered and wrapped. Should I have asked the driver to wait there for an hour and watch me unwrap them before I signed off? He would not have waited. Since this experience, I’ve asked every delivery driver to wait while I check the items and not one has said he could wait. We didn't damage the chairs and for a company to refuse to make it right just doesn't sit well with me. I will not be using Superior Seating again."
