Hotel Indigo Williamsburg - Brooklyn, an IHG Hotel 500 Metropolitan Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11211

"Pros: - great location, right off the L and G, near good coffee, bookstores, bars, restaurants - rooms are very quiet - modern decor - nice bar inside, although I didn’t get anything - parking is very easy, but pricey. I parked my 4 door jeep wrangler, it was $47 overnight. You pull up, and the attendant parks it for you. It’s the type of lot that has cars raised over each other, so not an easy or quick in-and-out kind of situation. I believe if you have a standard sized vehicle it would be a little less. The garage is nice, it’s monitored, and as you can see in the pic - right off the entrance. Have cash for tips. - staff is professional and nice Cons: - expensive. You’re paying for location but that is really it. - pets allowed (only 1, but they made an exception for me by letting me pay two fees) but it’s $100 fee and is not refundable. This is a steep fee IMO, and being non refundable seems crazy to make it that high."

"Stayed this past weekend, when we arrived Saturday, there was an issue not related to the hotel regarding our parking reservation. The parking garage that said it accepted oversized vehicles, upon arrival, it did not. I do not remember the gentleman`s name that was working the front desk, but he got his manager involved, and wound up taking care of our parking situation, even though it wasn`t their problem, Customer service at it`s finest, and the Hotel was very nice and central to our needs, well done!"

"Nice, clean and modern hotel. Showers though just had a rain head, or handheld shower head. So if you don't want to wash your hair you have to hold it in your hand which is quite inconvenient. Great location."

"We had a fantastic experience. The staff went above & beyond for us. The front desk was accommodating & friendly. We would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking for a great place to stay. And the gentleman who work in the garage on site are wonderful to work with as well."

"I didn’t want to have to write a poor review and reached out to the hotel multiple times to provide my feedback directly. I reached out via phone email etc. I never heard back. The hotel offers no filtered water for guests nor bottled water in the rooms. When asking for water at the bar, I was told they were not allowed to give water. They also had no umbrellas to provide on a very rainy day. The room had a broken thermostat and very large party that was being hosted that bothered many of the guests on my floor. Quite a few of the staff were very nice and helpful but quite a few were snarky and unhelpful which add the stay pretty uncomfortable. There is more to say but these are some of the highlights. I was paid almost $900 a night to stay. Needless to say, there are many other great options in this price point"
