"Had a great experience here. Got a good deal via hotwire midweek ( worked out at £89 per night). A few steps away from Nevins St Subway in the heart of Brooklyn. Was particularly convienient for the Barclays Center. I took in the Nets Knicks game whilst I was there and the arena was only a 10 minute walk away from the the hotel. Subway wise - in 20 minutes you can be in the heart of Manhattan, so it has a great location. Rooms are modern and very comfortable. Nice toileteries and very large impressive bathroom. As others had said, they also have a quirky set of gym equipment contained in the room. Massive shout out to Areanna Mathis - who arranged for a complimentary late check out ( 1pm instead of 11) for merely signing up for the hotel loyalty club ( just needed to give my email address, so was only a 2 minute job). She also stored my luggage for free. These two kind gestures were particularly well received as my onward journey was a 8pm train to Boston. This allowed me to have a very comfortable day after check out."
"I have traveled a lot and I consider that I have enough judgment to rate this hotel negatively. I sent feedback to customer service with my opinion and they have not responded, so this is my public opinion. The stay was a wedding gift, but the room was small with a pillar in the middle and little space, so we asked for a change and they told us that all the rooms were the same, when clearly we had paid for a superior one. The luggage storage service was free but after a while they told us that it cost 1 dollar an hour. When they had previously told us via email that they did not have this service. This was very confusing. The sheets were not changed every day and we had to complain about it. Summary: far from the center, mediocre service, small room, bathroom with shower, gym accessories were missing in the room and they were not replaced There are much better options for the same price even in Manhattan. Value: 3/10 Kind regards"
"I just stayed at this hotel and wanted to share my thoughts on it. First the positives- it is in a great spot in Brooklyn in terms of getting around- many subway and bus lines are within walking distance; there are restaurants around; this hotel is pet-friendly (for a $100 fee), there is a small breakfast area (breakfast you can purchase in advance or a-la-carte), beds were comfortable, and room was a decent size. Now the not so positive- the rooms lack sufficient storage, not many amenities, the carpet is carpet-tile in orange/brown colors (reminded me of 70’s/80’s carpet), and if you are on a lower floor- we were on the 3rd floor- you will feel and hear the rumbling of the subway beneath. If you are a light sleeper request a room higher up. The rooms also have no soundproofing from the street noise. At least not our room. I was able to hear everything that went on outside. I would recommend this hotel if you are just doing a quick 2-3 day stay. We only needed to stay 1 night so it worked well."
"Stayed at this hotel for my trip to New York for five nights, and I have no complaints! The staff was super friendly, and the hotel room was incredibly clean each day. The bed was comfy and I managed to get a decent night's sleep each night, which is rare for me! When checking out, the hotel kept my luggage in storage for a small fee which was very handy as my flight wasn't until that evening. The water in the foyer is a great touch, especially before heading out for a day of walking! Transport links are great, and what's even better is that it's a great location to explore Brooklyn. There are great spots to grab breakfast around the hotel, and there's also a lovely chill area at the back so you can bring your food back and eat. Thank you to the team for an amazing stay. I thoroughly recommend this hotel! :)"
"Friendly reception and helpful staff. Convenient location with multiple subway stops in different directions. Short walk to Barclays Center. Walkable to shops and restaurants as well. Room with King bed was small but clean. Bed was comfortable. No drawers for clothes. They have some exercise stuff in-room. They also have a good on-site gym. Comfortable lobby. It was quiet at night and I had a good night's rest after long days and nights of sightseeing and enjoying the city. Booked room through Hopper. 4 nights, $1k. Fair price. I would recommend and stay again."
