"THIS IS NOT A HOTEL!!! It’s a poorly run shelter with very a disgusting “security guard” who could not be bothered to have empathy for my mom and I being out of towners. He was immediately aggressive and dismissive when he approached us at the door. The older black bald gentleman (over weight) with the nasty white, I uneven beard."
"The hotel is not available please and I mean please do not book a room here the Rivera does operate out of this location. It is a shelter run by the city of Newark. And if want to know about the up keep of the building it operating fine a lot of the old charm of the hotel is around and very well kept."
