"We stayed here with my family last weekend, Friday to Sunday. We checked in around 6:30 PM on Friday. Room looked great up until we took a shower that night at the shower head was broken and spraying water all over the place (ceiling, outside of the shower, etc). Called to the front desk and they swapped us to a new room so we moved everything to the new room ourselves. Went to shower again and found out the body soap was empty mid-shower, called down to the front desk again and they asked me to come down to get some. I'd have expected they would have sent someone for all of the inconveniences, but went down anyway to get the body soap. They basically just handed me 2 tiny soap bars for your hands. Next night when we went to shower, the body soap was completely missing this time. I guess the housekeeping removed the bottle from the wall to refill it but then forgot to bring/put it back and they had thrown out our tiny soap bars that we were given the night before. My daughter was looking forward to going to the pool, but to our surprise the pool closes at 7 PM. No other hotel we've ever stayed at closed this early, so we never had time to go to the pool unfortunately. Their continental breakfast was pretty bad, my wife didn't even want to eat there. The scrambled eggs were very liquidy/watery, the round sausage patties looked very dry, they didnt even have fresh waffles as I've seen at other Marriott hotels, it was just waffles in plastic bags."
"Overall, this was a decent hotel. The staff was friendly, the lobby area was clean, and the rooms were fairly clean. We stayed for two days, just after Xmas, and it was super expensive. I get that because of the proximity to the American Dream complex, NYC, and the time of year and so on. For that money though, I expected a little more. In the 2 days we were there, we got no turn down service. We had to ask for towels and toilet paper at the front desk a couple of times. The trash can in the room is useless, and we ended up having to pile the trash up in the room. The trash can outside the front entrance was also overflowing with trash. Pool looked nice, and the workout room was really good with 3 treadmills, a weight machine, a Peloton, and other aerobic equipment. They also had a bar in the evenings which served drinks, and the room had 2 Queen beds, and a couch with a trundle bed and desk. The breakfast was okay, eggs, sausage, english muffins, bagels, and coffee and juice. Very busy in the mornings. The biggest gripes I have though, the TV stopped working after the first day, specifically the remote control. They gave us another, but that did nothing either so we gave up. Let's talk about the sliding bathroom door. If you are with others and like privacy, this is not the setup for you. There is a 1 inch gap in the door to the wall on either side, and if you are sitting on the couch, you can see the person taking a shower. If you are on the other side, or have a view from the mirror on the wall, you can see them on the toilet. Not much the staff can probably do, but may some kind of trim piece to give more privacy. It bordered on the ridiculous. All in all, it was a decent hotel, but they need to work on the things I mentioned."
"We had an amazing experience at this hotel. We arrived at 11am, after checking out of a cruise ship and the front desk was lovely enough to let us check in right away. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel where 3 different buses can drive you to NYC in less than 30 minutes. The room was spacious and clean and there was many options for breakfast. There was also watching and drying machines available for customers. I would absolutely return to this hotel when I return to the big Apple!"
"The check-in was amazing. Augustvs was a super nice welcoming person. Thank you for making the checking pleasing the sofa in the room is noticeably dirty like needs to be washed dirty there was no hand cream in the room. But other than this was nice big room. One thing is cool there is an option on the TV to be able to use your cell phone as the TV remote that is cool. Just clean the sofa will be good and update the tv about the parking although the front desk was nice to no charge thank you. I would recommend this hotel and if going to a football game NFL they offer shuttle bus to stadium $20 each way per person."
"My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights for vacation/comic con. Our experience was great from start to finish. Check in was a breeze and Kim was very friendly and sweet. Every employee we encountered was friendly and courteous. Our room was on a higher floor and was spotless. There was a slight glitch after checkout but that was more related to the website and not the hotel. We will definitely return in the future."
