Hilton Meadowlands

"Great location. We stayed one night. I'd give this 2.5 stars more accurately but oooof the room was just ugh. We stayed on the 6th floor. Not far from the elevator. NOTE: No mini fridge in the room or vending machines. We travel with two kids so we always bring a small cooler anyway to go through waters but I can't think of the last time I stayed anywhere that didn't have one and we travel A LOT. Granted we were only staying one night and wouldn't be in the room and it was a more affordable option but you definitely get what you pay for. I'm a person who is grossed out by germs even pre-Covid. I brought Lysol spray based on the other reviews and good thing. I don't know if it was the AC vent or what but it wasn't pleasant. The spray helped though. The AC made a lot of noise. They may be dirty as well bc my kids allergies were going nuts. The beds were fine. No issues with the headboards or anything like that. We booked bc it's so close to American Dream too. Now for the worst most disgusting, the bathroom. I told the front desk staff on the way out so hopefully they do something. My husband even said we really should've booked the other hotel for more money. I'm not sure housekeeping does anything besides change the bed sheets at this hotel. They only give two towels. We didn't need more bc we weren't showering there. I'm adding two pics of the worst of the bathroom. There was a ring in the toilet and it doesn't look like the floors were bleached since it opened."

"This is a lovely hotel with kind staff and surprising views. I had no idea what I was signing up for, but landed myself a view that Sinatra himself would have shed a tear at. The wifi needed some love, and the TV was more glitch than program, but those are minor gripes in an otherwise great stay."

"Our stay at the Hilton Meadowlands was great. The hotel's location, situated conveniently near MetLife Stadium and American Dream, offered ease of access to NYC and its scenic views. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, providing a comfortable retreat after a long day; however, the pillows weren't as fluffy as they should be. The water system was great, and we had access to hot water throughout our stay. The hotel's parking options weren't impressive. You have to pay for their parking services. Overall, our time at Hilton Meadowlands was a truly wholesome experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking comfort, convenience, and hospitality during their stay."

"Room is decently sized and fairly close to the mall and stadium but aside from that I have nothing good to say about it. The room seems to be very poorly ventilated with a slight moldy smell when you walked in, carpet felt slightly tacky, and poor room lighting during the evening/night. Worst of all it that the shower head/bath faucet does NOT produce hot water, only barely lukewarm water. Strangely enough the sink faucet produce hot water if you leave it running long enough. Was only able to wash up by pouring buckets of water from the sink to the tub."

"The hotel is beautiful, but the pillows sucked. We ran out of toilet paper and there were no extra Rolls in our room. The location was great for both New York City and American Dream."
