"The manager there was a really nice guy and easy to talk too. The staff were all great and the breakfast was very good. The sundried omelet was great and gluten free! Love the shuttle to the ferry!"

"Worst hotel I've ever been to. I still don't believe it's Marriott. The room is dirty. Bed linen with stains and hair. There is food in the refrigerator from previous guests. At 2 am the guests in the next room turned on loud music. I had to call the front desk three times to get them to do something. The only positive thing about the hotel is the breakfast, which is varied and tasty"

Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was good, and the woman that takes care of the breakfast keeps everything stocked and the area clean. Lobby is appealing, and the room was clean and comfortable. They have a shuttle to the Staten Island Ferry, which was very handy, and the shuttle driver was friendly and shared great information with us."

"The room was super comfy and nice. The AC works great, and the water is hot. There's no microwave I'm the room but there's one in the lobby. But it's kinda of nasty and should be cleaned regularly. Breakfast is nothing special but the coffee bar is nice and the coffee was really good. The front desk should work on their customer service because multiple workers there just aren't friendly. The housekeeping manager was super friendly and professional! The location is honestly a little sketchy. Like coming to the hotel at night and seeing a ton of people standing outside wasn't welcoming. Finding out that there were 2 shelters behind the hotel made it better, but not knowing that made it real sketch."

"the fact that hotel/rooms look really nice and clean is the only reason they got a 3 instead of 1. I've stayed at tons of hotels, but I've never had the lack of service that this spot provided. NONE of the phones (room, hallway, elevator) are operational, which means if you have a problem you either have to walk down to the front or call w your cellphone. low staffing means your room will not be cleaned until after you leave. depending on who's at the front, if you ask for more towels or blankets, you could have to go down to the front to pick them up yourself. it's a strong NO for me!!"
