Reviews
"Full of cars that can drive on the beach. Lots of black flies. It's pristine, if you walk down, but they're currently dredging sand back on part of the beach and there's a huge pipeline. At the entrance. After that the pics speak for themselves. Perfect for practicing my kite training :) (which I learned isn't ok on the reserve side)"
"Great views of the ocean and bay as well as the natural park in between. Greenheads are some times present."
"Beautiful! Even in the fall. Almost no one on the beach. The birds were plentiful and the waves were peaceful. A few fisherman and a few beachcombers were hanging out on the beach."
"Drive on beach is nice. You need a permit. Went on labor day cops were pretty strict on that day. Permit is free for military members. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Wish we could let our dog run free. She loves the beach."
"Great natural habitat. Beach access available for 4x4 vehicles only. Always a fun time exploring this place."
