"I love this place, I’m a hard stick and they know how to draw my blood without sticking me 5 times. With them I’m one and done."
"Could be a lot better! It seems the receptionist is also the phlebotomist. Over 30 minute wait. Rooms not cleaned or disinfected between patients Tubes and syringe parts on the floor No handwashing at all! Hand sanitizer dispensers near self check-in are empty. More patients in the back then bays, people standing and sitting around outside bays. Phlebotomist skilled and mildly pleasant"
"My father just had a major surgery and needed lab work done before the holiday. This location was convenient. I was a little hesitant based on the reviews. Surprisingly I was very impressed by the level of professionalism and compassion from Yajaira (lab tech). She made the process seamless. So thankful for her!"
"This location never updates the time online, every other month there is new hours and only a paper change never on line changes so many pts always waiting at the door after 2:30pm but office already closed. Not good for patients."
"I recently went to a particular location to have my blood drawn, and I want to share my experience. I have a very low tolerance for pain, and I made sure to communicate this to the phlebotomist who was going to draw my blood. As is usual for me, I turned my head away because I can't bear to watch the needle being inserted. However, this time, the pain was so intense that it felt like someone was trying to yank my veins out. I couldn’t help but look and scream because the pain was that unbearable. The phlebotomist managed to fill one vial but mentioned something about a vein “being busted” or similar. Instead of removing the needle to attempt another insertion, she pushed the needle further into my arm, twisting and tilting it, trying to access another vein. During this time, I inquired about the butterfly needle, which I was told they no longer use because the larger needles are more cost-effective. I tried to lighten the mood by jokingly saying that I would buy my own butterfly needles for future appointments if they would let me. I own plenty of needles at home because I do lost of fabric work. The needle used in my arm was the size of the needles I use for sewing leather. After failing to draw blood from my left arm, the phlebotomist decided to try my right arm. At this point, she found and used a butterfly needle. Though it still caused me pain, it was considerably more bearable than the previous needle. The entire experience was extremely distressing for me. I cried during the appointment, and the pain was so excruciating that I felt nauseous and like I was going to vomit and pass out. Oh and it was very weird being told to pick an empty room to go in on my own. The phlebotomist was nice. I was greeted by an older black woman who was very down to earth which was a relief. The receptionist (young Spanish or white lady) that checked my id and insurance card was very rude. She barely wanted to respond to me when I greeted her. We have a voice for a reason, use it. It’s too early to be upset at the world."
