"I came into the produce I got some of the best help with my shopping list by young lady name Mireille Wapala she made sure I got all the best products and everything was right where it needed to be ."
"I live right down the block from this abomination of a grocery store. Unless I absolutely need something in a pinch I avoid this store at all costs. And pun intended when I say COSTS because my God are the prices stupid high here. I shouldn't even bring God into this because He is ashamed of what they're charging! Just when you think prices in the city can't get any higher, D'Agostino's says "hold my beer." The atrocities I've seen here regarding high prices are so high, I have PTSD. I go out of my way to unrecommend this place! I HIGHLY recommend going to Morton Williams (56th) or Trader Joe's (59th). It's well worth the walk."
"Update: Had the Italian sub again today and again it was outstanding! They slice the meats thin so they just melt in your mouth delicious! Great sandwich.... the best in the neighborhood for sure. ------------- I had the ***B E S T*** Italian sub today made fresh for me by the nice deli person. It was delicious! Pastrami, Genoa salami, ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, a little onion, peppers, mayo and Italian dressing on a roll. It was perfection! I like sandwiches from D'Agostino because they are so fresh and you can pick and choose ingredients. Pre-made are also great and made each morning. I love D'Agostino. They have everything you need and are nearby. Helpful friendly staff."
"Always overpriced on just about every item. Produce section is a disaster compared to other suoermarkets. Believe it or not a 2-pack of Bounty paper towels costs $10.99. An absolute rip-off taking advantage of the consumer all the while a subpar shopping experience in a store that is in desperate need of a makeover. I hope with all the overcharging this store does they at least pay the employees well as they are usually very nice and polite. Just to demonstrate that the Bounty for $10.99 isn't an anomaly, the last time I needed Reynolds Wrap Aluminum Foil (200sf size) the price was about $18 !!! Luckily, there are a few other supermarket choices in the area and I highly recommend people using those stores in order to save money."
"Expect to find half the things on your shopping list out of stock. For things in stock, expect to pay 20% to 30% more than all other local stores. Rigorously check expiration dates on anything bought here. I bought a carton of eggs, found one rotten, then discovered that the "sell by" date had expired FIVE DAYS before I bought them. Rigorously check prices. I recently found two items on sale, then found I'd been charged the original price (not the sale price) when I checked the receipt later. Produce is sparse and often sad looking. Most other local stores have better selection and fresher produce. Shop here only in an emergency, if you need canned foods or bottled water. For anything else, go elsewhere."
