"The staff at this campground should get five stars! It’s the physical campground that is awful. Whoever designed this campground had one goal: squeeze as many sites in as small spaces as possible and forget about parking for your tow vehicle! Our first site was so off level, we didn’t have enough leveling blocks (and we have two sets)! We moved to a second site and didn’t fit because the electric service was in the way of my slide and there was a gigantic tree on the other side which was only about five feet from my travel trailer so I couldn’t put out my 9’x12’ rug not my awning. The third site was where we started but our tow vehicle was practically in the road when we tried to park. No one around us were transients and they didn’t have vehicles nor parking spots either! Also, I was so very much looking forward to spending some time at the pool but it was closed for the season!! I was told all campground in New Jersey closed their pools the weekend after Labor Day. I know this isn’t true because a campgrounds couple miles away from this one has their pool open with lots of people swimming! I won’t be back to this campground."
"I really like this campground as everyone else says the staff is great. It's like a small campground and the sites are close together, but that's the only negative thing I have to say. They make very good use of the space they do have. Bath houses were clean every time I needed to use them. I heard someone say the cabins don't have bathrooms. Use the bath house. It's not that bad. What you're paying for is not having to tell your trailer in there and set it up like I do. Pool was a nice size, Good setting area around it. I didn't actually play them any golf but they have it. They have a volleyball net with sand setup. They have a mini soccer field with soccer goals. There's a fishing pond. Overflow parking lot. Everything I used was in good working order and clean Pretty good activity list for the kids DJ and whatnot fishing tournament. The other campers were crazy friendly too. Lots to do in the area too. Lake lenape Atlantic City or Ocean City are like 25 30 minutes. The reason I like this one a little bit better than lake and shore is the location"
"I booked a 2 night 3 day stay here for a girls weekend beach trip. We were beyond excited for the start of our weekend, I walked into the front office and was appalled by how rude the front office worker was. First, she did not greet me, I walked in said hello and she did not acknowledge my presence as a customer. When checking in she seemed annoyed to have to put down her lunch to check me in. She also provided the wrong code to the gate to enter the camp ground, so I had to back my car up on a one way to go back to the office and get the correct code which she also seemed to be irritated to assist me getting the correct code. Aside from the rude employee, the camp ground is a nice spot for tent camping, water and electric included for a good price, you can’t beat the price for a 30 minute drive to Ocean City or Atlantic City. The sites are spacious, I had plenty of room for my canopy over the table, a 6 person tent and my car to be parked The tent site also had a nice view of the pond and the water made great ambience sound for sleeping. BE AWARE if you are tent camping the closest bathroom is a portapotty. Showers and public restrooms are a little bit of a walk from the tent sites but we’re very clean and well maintained. The ground seems to be mostly permanent sites, it could overall use a bit of TLC to be more presentable but I did enjoy my stay aside from the employee that needs a major attitude adjustment or find a job that’s not in guest services."
"Small sites, mostly seasonal who have all been friendly. Restroom for ladies is old but clean, husband said one stall out of tp for 2 days on men's side. Mini golf is completely unusable, pool and staff are nice. Horribly, loud blaring musicfrom one direction, golf cart driving around blaring other music and some music blaring behind us during the weekend. It was quiet Wednesday and Thursday night. We only came because it was included in our thousand trails membership. Would not come again."
"The staff was fantastic, super nice and helpful. Location was good, other campers really friendly as well. I can not say that my didn't have a good time, we made the best of the time together but things like the pictures of the mini golf that are presented on the different booking websites, looks nothing like that. The mini golf was completely run down and starting to rot in places. A little bit of TLC overall in the campground and this could be a really nice campground given its proximity to Ocean City."
