Reviews of Metrograph
"Screens the best movies on average in the city as far as I know. Fun place to go. Neat accompanied bookstore, bar with a good atmosphere upstairs. Prices are not great at the bar, good at the movies if you have the metrograph membership and average at the bookstore. Love this place."
"Lovely. Recommend rows E and up in theatre 2. Membership worthwhile! Especially if you have dinner at the commissary before a show (you get a discount). The bar’s hot toddy is the drink to beat on a cold winter night in Manhattan."
"Minimalist brasserie with excellent service, strong aesthetics, and relaxed vibes. It’s giving a lobby bar in a chic, downtown hotel. Go for brunch, cocktails, or dessert."
"Cute and quaint movie theatre for a date night. Great selection of drinks and snacks to choose from and there is a bar and restaurant upstairs. They seem to feature a great selection of independent films some of which they play in 35 mm. The seats are not the most comfortable, but I still recommend this theatre nonetheless!"
"Really cool, older feeling theater showing some interesting art house movies. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea, but if you’re looking for a more specific, artsy theater, you’re going to love it here. Not to mention a bar downstairs and then another bar and a restaurant upstairs."
