"I had a piece of their rum cake at a birthday party and ended up ordering one for the holidays. $35 for a small one which I think is worth it because it is a uniquely made cake. Whipped cream instead of frosting. Two kinds of pudding inside. Shaved almonds on the sides with a rum chocolate taste. It is definitely a different type of cake sure to please anyone who tries it."

"Was very disappointed with the vanilla and buttercream birthday cake purchased. The cake was all icing and one layer of cake, sliced in half to mimic the two layers of cake normally included in a double layer cake. The “cake” was 65% frosting and 35% cake. The icing was flavorful, but the cake itself tasted like a plain box cake. So disappointed. I thought that the cake would be delicious based on the reviews, but it was not a flavorful cake. I could’ve saved $40 by buying a mass produced cake at Sam’s Club and had similar flavor, while actually getting some cake. Called the bakery to report the lack of cake in my $55 cake and was simply told, “That’s how we make our cakes.” Selling me 5 lbs of icing seems deceptive. Will not use this bakery again."

"We found this out of the way Little Italian pastry shop who's pastries were simply off the wall. We got a few of their many cheesecakes cookies and finally an Italian rum cake that did not disappoint the sponge itself was lightly soaked with the rum real whipped cream was used for frosting and a delicious pastry cream in between the layers. Absolutely delicious! We'll be back!!!"

"Great place. Wonderful selection. Fresh and delicious. This place is the home town small Bakery I've been missing. I also purchased a St Joseph pastry and thought it was perfect. Baked to perfection. Never had one before but look forward to something new in the near future."
