"I went to the Catacombs by Candlelight tour on a school trip. The guide Tommy was really nice and explained everything very well. I would 100% recommend the tour to others and would definitely do it again!"
"Dan was my tour guide. Our tour was the little Italy area in Manhattan. Learned lots from this tour. Dan was our tour guide. He was very personable and had a good balance of humour & information. My only dislike is little Italy doesn't really exist anymore. A lot of the tour is of what little Italy once was and the current area has been gentrified to a large degree. This area is also heavily Asian now so I'd imagine the Chinatown tour would be a popular choice. Either way enjoyed the tour."
"Had a great time with my wife. Dan our tour guide was fun and engaging making our experience memorable. Thank you so much!"
"My wife and I did the Original St Patrics tour of the Catacombs and the church and aurrounds. If you want a detailed history of the Catholic church in New York and how it was influenced by immigration from different countries over the last 200plus years and the threats from the NY gang scene and how the church continued and continues to evolve to meet the needs of the parishioners, then I recommend this tour. It's excellent. Tommy ran the tour. You will walk away wanting to learn more. This is history the way it's meant to be presented and preserved. Thankyou Tommy."
"The check in is easy.. The tour guide Dan, was very informative. He brought humor and continously invited questions. The tour is 90 minutes but you are not in the actual Catacombs that long. That's alright though because you have plenty of time to actually look at what is available to walk through. You go in the Church; but remember this is an active church so it's important to remain quiet and respectful. No videos are allowed but they tell you that any type of pictures are acceptable. Also if you did not get to see the Church sanctuary to your fullest satisfaction or if you want to participate they allow you to reenter after the tour has ended. It is not at the St Patrick's near Rockerfeller. It is in the original St Patrick that is listed as "The Basilica of St Patrick's Old Cathedral". I would recommend this to anyone that has a strong Catholic heritage, loves history, loves Church architecture, or is looking for a little something different than just shopping. The only thing that could be a drawback is if you have small children then they are probably not going to enjoy it.... however there were no children on the tour we went to so I cannot say for certain that would be an issue."
