"I secured Bill Sragow as a real estate lawyer for a typical home purchase in the summer of 2017. There ended up being no major problems with the house, so nothing out of the ordinary for a lawyer to do. A couple things that Bill was good at: Generating a couple of addendums to the contract as needed. At closing, explaining what each document was and terms in the contract. Things Bill was not good at: Communicating with us on a timely basis. Actually telling the selling agent that we may not be interested in the house based on an issue that cropped up in the appraisal (related to zoning) without first even talking to us about it. Showing up on time for the closing (he was the last to arrive and after the starting time). We actually had to adjust the closing time and date based on his schedule. I can't speak to his capacity in other real estate matters, but I cannot recommend him as a lawyer if you are the buyer for a typical home purchase. Perhaps timing/busy season was a factor, but it was not a good experience for us."
