"I recently hired Emeka to represent me in a criminal court case involving multiple charges. Unfortunately, my experience with him and the law firm has been highly disappointing. Firstly, Emeka failed to inform me about the rescheduling of the court date, resulting in a four-month delay. This lack of communication was not only inconvenient but also unprofessional. As a client, I expected to be kept informed about any changes or updates regarding my case. Furthermore, Emeka's responsiveness was severely lacking. Whenever I reached out to him with concerns or questions, it took him an unreasonable amount of time to respond, if he responded at all. This lack of attentiveness made me feel undervalued as a client and undermined my confidence in his abilities as a lawyer. Adding to my frustration, despite terminating our professional relationship, the law firm has failed to send me a notice confirming the termination of the contract. This lack of follow-through reflects poorly on their organizational efficiency and leaves me questioning their commitment to professional standards. Considering the significant amount I paid, including $2500 for a retainer fee, I expected a higher level of service and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with Emeka and the law firm fell far short of my expectations. If that was not enough I later found out on my own on (11/03/2023) that the claim application for claim services that Emeka filed on my behalf was incomplete and lacked necessary information with the incorrect address for my name! Moreover, I was never informed about the application being denied. The lack of communication was disheartening, and it seemed as if Emeka was more aligned with the prosecutor or municipality rather than prioritizing my best interests. This experience has left me feeling let down and concerned. I hope that by sharing my experience, others will be cautious when considering this law firm for their legal needs. It's important to choose a lawyer who is responsive, communicative, and committed to their clients' best interests."
