"Divorce is never easy. And Divorcing breadwinning husbands and caring fathers get the shorter end of the stick most of the time. There's her side, his side and the truth. The hard truth is never easy for anyone. Especially for the children. Mr. Ricci heard my case and helped me from the beginning to the very end. The great thing is that Mr. Ricci is not a lawyer who charges me for every second of interacting with him. What he charged me was very fare. But remember, the more you email him, the more you call him, the longer you go on and demand his attention to your every need and every question, the more it will cost you. Be quick and to the point and he will take care of your best interests. That's his job. Also, with the point on never returning calls or emails: He has many cases and many clients. ALL getting backlogged and delayed due to covid. Be patient and things will turn out fine. I expected delays in returned calls and emails. But he does respond. He does his job. And he will help you through this. If you think about it, the more cases he has, the more clients he has, the better of an attorney he is and you should feel you have a great attorney supporting you through this difficult time in your life. Patience is a virture. We all wish "Hurry the F up" is a virtue, but its not. Mr. Ricci is a Class Act Lawyer. If he is representing you, you'll come out just fine in the end. Trust that when things are in the thick of it, its very stressful and you will get angry and frustrated and who are you going to scream at? Your lawyer. When the dust is settled, things will turn out ok. I am realizing Divorce is like Chinese fingercuffs. The more you struggle and get worked up, the worse it gets. Take a deep breathe, and be patient and he will help you get your fingers out in one piece. Thank you Mr. Ricci"
"I retained Mr. Ricci during a very challenging time when I was divorcing. With all the various factors that were entangled in my case, Mr. Ricci navigated me through the journey with fair resolution. Communication was clear and answered my inquiries in a timely matter. One of the striking points that Mr. Ricci provided during my divorce was how he was able to separate emotions from the law. His services did not stop when my divorce was final which was greatly appreciated."
"I hired Robert Ricci to represent me in a Child Custody case recently. The nature of the case with the defendant was very sensitive and emotional to say the least. Robert has been nothing less than attentive to my concerns, legal needs and emotional state of mind. He has been responsive to every call or email that was transmitted to his office. He offered legal advice that was both in keeping with the laws and taking into account my emotional state of mind. Both Robert and his paralegal, were very attentive and professional during this entire journey. Robert listen and this is a notably characteristic in an Attorney. Robert, was proactive and present. He had the respect of the court and the judge. Robert has successful provided me with professional service that yielded a favorable outcome to me. I highly recommend Robert Ricci Jr and his Paralegal to anyone that has a family matter and is in need of an attorney, that is knowledgeable in the law, one that listens, is empathetic, and knows how to address the court to bring about favorable results to their given circumstance."
"Mr. Ricci called me and discussed how he can handle my case in great detail in initial consultation. He would call me immediately to take my credit card payments. Soon as I hired him, he would ignore my emails and phone calls. He would drop the ball on filings because he ignored repeated emails and tried to put the blame on his paralegal saying he thought he had it done. My wife would keep taking the children out of state and not disclosing where they are. I asked him to send a letter out. He drafted a letter but never sent it out. I asked him several times why he never sent the letter out and when will you send it out and he would ignore my request. I asked him to request that I can see the kids for Christmas since my wife refused to send them for Thanksgiving as she has already had the kids since August and he would never request for them to be sent after asking him to do this several times. During the mediation hearing, he never addressed any of my concerns and things I wanted but only asked about his court fees be paid. When asking him why he keeps ignoring emails and my request, all he will do is send an invoice over. My case ended up getting dismissed because he ignored my emails and asking did I need to go to court on a specific date. Mr. Ricci will not return your calls or emails until you call the ethics department on him and then he will call you but that is all he will do is call you. I have been dealing with this situation for almost 7 mos. I had to terminate my agreement with him because he was making side deals with my wife's attorney violating ethics. I have not received a penny out of this divorce and have not seen my kids in 5 mos and he did nothing to help. All he did was ignored every request for me to assist with seeing my children. I asked for a refund and he said you still owe me over $10K. I would call him and send emails about getting almost evicted due to the fact of this divorce and wife making 3 times the salary of mine and he would ignore my emails and show no compassion. Only out for money and make up charges and will work with the other party. He has been accused of this before on AVVO from a previous client name Joe. . I received an email from Mr. Ricci February 5, 2019 after my divorce was finalized on January 28, 2019. He is saying I still owe him $14K but tried to put the blame on me on why my case was dismissed by the judge for not show up to court and firing him. He refuses to take responsibility for his own actions on ignoring my numerous emails asking did I need to appear in court. He refuses to take responsibility on never getting the financial documents from my ex wife who makes over $100K when an order was signed off by the judge for proof of bank account balances, pensions, to be produced on October, 15, 2018. I asked him numberous times and he ignored it along with her attorney never sending them. Never sent a letter on requesting to see my kids for Christmas and so many other things he did to sabotage my case. I ended having to pay out of pocket to get court documents done, borrow money to fly to NJ from the West Coast to come to court to be bullied and bashed and ordered to pay $183 per week in child support when my income is 3 times less than my ex wife and received not one thing out of a 16 year marriage. While she got to keep the $6,000 deposit from the townhouse we stayed in along with a $15,000 bonus from her job. His paralegal stated that he represents another client where the wife only makes $40K per year and the husband makes over $400K per year and the case has been going on for a year and the wife never received any alimony. These are FACTS. and I have proven documentations of all of this. The MESP hearing was rehearsed and staged. As I live in Nevada and Robert Ricci was supposed to represent me in person as my attorney I hired. I appeared by phone. All of the mediators along with my ex wife and her attorney were in the room with Robert Ricci. The mediators at one time all said " Alimony is a Wash". Robert Ricci said NOTHING. He received his $14K from my ex wife"
"Contacted this lawyer a month ago. Received a call back. He seemed genuinely interested in my case. Sent relevant information as requested and never received a call back. I continued to call and was finally able to speak to Mr Ricci 3 weeks later who stated he would review my information again. Here we are a week since then and no response. Safe to say this lawyer is not very concerned and wasted an entire month of time making me feel as if he would take my case. Paralegal seems very nice and was very apologetic but will just say to others look elsewhere!!"
