"It’s a decent firm, but I wouldn’t recommend, as a place of employment or to advocate on your behalf. I worked here for under 6 months. Named partner doesn’t generally hire female associates attorneys, only males. Even the secretaries joke about it when I was hired (a woman). He would take the attorneys for outings and bring the one male paralegal along, but exclude the sole female associate. Even though the good cases were assigned to the men, I still managed to settle more cases in 6 months than the male associates did in a year. Yet, I was fired without reason right before my only million dollar case settled - so he wouldn’t have to honor my bonus (which would have been huge). I guess he didn’t think the woman deserved it. Is that the kind of person you want to hire or work for?"
