Peace Through Play Nursery School

"Peace through Play is a magical place. I wish that I had the opportunity to go to such a great nursery school when I was a kid. They have a great private outdoor space where the kids can have fun and just be kids. My daughter loves to do artwork and they had so much for her to do there. She would come home each day excited to show us her new yoga moves and sing the songs she learned each day. My daughter really opened up during her time there and made great friends. Even being there all day she would still complain that she wanted to say when it was time to take her home. They offer affordable prices with a long schedule which is amazing for working parents. Miss Elisa does an excellent job, along with all of the other teachers and staff. They have a great culture there and all support each other. There was never a single issue during my time there. We went out of our way to keep our daughter in PTP even when we moved and it was no longer convenient. I can not recommend PTP enough!"

"This school holds a special place in my heart. They set the bar when it comes to early childhood education; children are free to explore and experiment and learn by following their interests and ideas. The outdoor space and the woods offer a unique setting to play and get dirty and be creative. Imaginations rule and the children are encouraged to think big and think outside the box (and always have their rain boots at the ready!). My older son recently graduated and we're just counting down the months until my youngest can enroll."

"I am a clinical psychologist who conducts evaluations in both Westchester and Rockland Counties. I feel like I have seen every preschool in these areas. This really makes me realize a great preschool. Peace Through Play Nursery School is just that place and this motivated me to write this review. The playground is open and has a wonderful set-up that inspires imaginative play and gross motor fun. The inside of the school really reflects the name. The staff is supportive and caring. I could truly tell that each child is highly valued and loved. The rooms are wonderfully designed to inspire creativity in the children. The whole child is cared for in this environment. Definitely a gem in the world of today."
