"Fav spot at the Mitsuwa food court for shrimp over rice! Great comfort food especially during the cold. Quality is super consistent, if possible i try to eat at the food court, but i always find myself getting it for takeout a lot too!"
"Tokyo Hanten exceeded my expectations! I ordered their Hamburger with gyoza over rice, and it was an absolute delight. The flavors were superb, and the combination of textures was a true treat for the palate. Considering the quality of the dish, the price was more than justified – I'd say it's a steal. If you're looking for a mouthwatering meal that hits all the right notes, I wholeheartedly recommend Tokyo Hanten to everyone."
"Update: Since COVID-19, like many of the other shops in the food court, they are now taking all forms of credit card payments including contactless. Food is still pretty soild and service is pretty fast. You can choose to takeout or dine in. They also offer delivery via Grubhub now. Original review: Japanese style Chinese food. Located in the Mitsuwa Marketplace food court. It's decent but there are better options here, like Santouka Ramen or Hannosuke. It's cash only and they offer take away."
"Definitely the best food that I have gotten from a supermarket. The wait was long, but so worth it. I loved the fired shrimp with the mayo along with the omelette and rice. The shrimp is perfectly breaded with a nice amount of crunch and creaminess. The subtly tangy mayo goes so well with the rice and egg. I loved my dish. The hamburger patty with rice was also so good. The hamburger was so flavorful and juicy. I ended up ordering two dishes instead of one because of how good it was."
"This eatery is inside Mitsuwa Marketplace. Here, they seem to have all of their offerings made into wax food. It is really nice to be able to what the food you are ordering are going to (or supposed to) look like. It is kind of Japanese-style Chinese food in my opinion, and it CASH ONLY. I chose Hamburg & Gyoza with Rice. There was an option to substitute white rice to Fried Rice or Rice Porridge for additional $2. The waxed version of fried rice looked so good, that I decided to swap my white rice with fried rice. Hamburg steak and gyoza was not bad, they were actually pleasantly tasty. The fried rice…well, it was just ok. It didn’t have much flavor at all… I don’t think it was worth the extra $2. My husband went with Crab Omelet & Gravy over Pork Rice. It looked similar to Omurice, a typical Japanese comfort food, but kind of Chinese version of that. The egg omelet was good, bot great. The crab meat seemed like a real crab meat, and not imitation kind, which was nice. The gravy gave a nice creamy texture, with a but of sweetness to it. I didn’t see much of “pork” in the “pork rice” though. Overall, it was ok, it didn’t blew my mind in any way. The price point was nice, very affordable. Maybe we will try something else again, but it didn’t make the top of our list."
