Reviews of Ramen Azuma Englewood
"Ramen goodness in Jersey! Went to different locations and this ramen place does not disappoint! Location: It is located along Englewood. There is few seating inside and a bar. There is seating outside but not heated. Lot of street parking. Service: They were very attentive and nice. Food: they are famous with their ramens but I always order the combo. RAMEN and YAKINIKU: this is my favorite cause the ramen broth is so delicious and the beef yakiniku is so tender and tasty. PORK CUTLET PLATTER: the tonkatsu was tender inside and crispy outside, comes with miso soup and rice. RAMEN and CHICKEN KARAAGE: the chicken is crispy and cooked into perfection. SHRIMP TEMPURA: its like the one we buy in costco, this is my least favorite. GYOZA: its delicate and the pork and chives are tasty. LAVENDER LEMONADE: it was okay, too sweet. THAI TEA BOBA: this is better, so milky and not that sweet. Price rating: 7/10. Not bad for the goodness that you’ll get. Visited this ramen place multiple times and it’s always a good experience! Definitely will come back!"
"Ramen Azuma is a gem! The only downside is the limited parking, but it's absolutely worth the minor hassle. The food is sumptuous and delicious - the ramen is authentic and bursting with flavor, a must-try for anyone who appreciates a good bowl of noodles. Service is impressively quick, which is great when you're hungry. The place itself is clean and has a cozy vibe, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I'd definitely recommend it to all ramen lovers. Can't wait to go back on my next visit to NJ!"
"Their Ramen is authentic, flavorful. The black garlic ramen is hands down their best on the menu followed by the beef ramen in my opinion. Their service is quick and attentive. Would recommend. Our waiter jonathan was especially helpful in recommendations and introduced us to the hellfire ramen!"
"Lucky for us to get a parking space when we got there. Jonathan was fast enough to clean up the bar space where we are supposed to be sit in . Food is sumptuous and delicious. Love the fried squid & takoyaki. Place is clean and cozy. Surely I’m recommending this Ramen Azuma to all who love ramen. Keep up the good work."
"We love ramen in our family and Ramen Azuma is inarguably one of our top two favorites! The establishment has style. They have great outdoor sitting. The staff is very young and always warm and friendly! A lovely young man wished me Happy International Women’s Day when I dined there on the occasion. The food is always great when dining in. I’ve done multiple take out orders and sometimes the bao buns have had almost no sauce but I’ve called the restaurant, since we can never resist and we eat them on our way home, and they’ve had our sauce ready to grab. They got my vegan ramen wrong once out of about 10 take out orders. I’m vegan and deeply appreciate that they have not only one but three ramen selections! I’ve never eaten at a ramen restaurant that has more than one! And they have gluten-free noodles!!!! The broth is so flavorful and the vegetable selection is both diverse and generous! The tofu is one of the best preparations I’ve tasted in a ramen. There are 3 or 4 vegan options for appetizers and the vegan tofu bao bun never fails! There is no alcohol served. My daughter who is not vegan has enjoyed some of the desserts. There have been small hiccups and the staff has risen to the occasion every time. I’d say that dining in is much more likely to offer a great experience and that take out can be hit or miss especially if they’re busy. Definitely recommend Ramen Azuma for its friendly staff and delicious, extensive ramen offerings."
