"Just had another great meal at Shokudo in Hoboken, and it's always a hit. Their Vegetable Udon and Spicy Pork Donburri are my go-tos. The food is consistently fresh and arrives piping hot – a real treat in the local dining scene. The udon is packed with fresh veggies and perfectly cooked noodles, and the pork donburri has just the right amount of spice. "The fried vegetable dumplings were really good. I had the vegetarian miso ramen which I asked them to make extra spicy - which turned out to be moderately spicy, and more smoky than spicy. The quantity is pretty good, and overall the flavour was good too. However, I wish the broth was slightly more flavourful. My husband loved the spicy fried chicken."

"Hidden gem in Hoboken. Amazing spot to grab that hot, spicy ramen. Tried their miso ramen and it was full of flavors. Also Korean chicken with spicy sauce was super juicy and finger licking good. Would visit again."

"A really great spot with a relaxing atmosphere. Would have been 5 start but the skewers were very small for the price and the pancake wasn't my favorite. Went for lunch and enjoyed the open air vibe and tasty food. I ordered spicy pork buns - delicious, a chicken skewer (negima)- small but tasty, scallop skewer (hotate) - very small but tasty, and okonamiyaki - good. Jake (the owner) was very attentive and I'd definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area. :)"
