Devil's Tree

"Really cool to finally see the tree that I have read about in Weird NJ since I was a kid. Tree itself is cool and somehow still appears healthy after being assaulted for decades. However, the area around the tree is severely under managed and rife with invasive species. Some signage denoting the significance of the tree would be great."

"It's a tree filled with mystery and urban legends from it being haunted to unconfirmed hangings. It's a cool stop if you're in the area. There's nothing else to see once you see the tree though. It's best to go in the fall you can tell which one it is because it stands out"

"Definitely an ominous tree. It's hard to spot off the road, but when you drive nearby it slowly rolls into view and you can just see why the tree is so evil. Every piece of foliage looks like it was placed there, not grown. And the pathway to the tree is just so pronounced you kinda wonder if you're walking into hell itself. But it was definitely interesting to view."
