"This place is truly terrible. The workers offer zero assistance with attitudes. The summer camp kids are reckless and it’s obvious the staff members have zero control. They are great for hosting events because that seems to be all they care about. That’s the only time there’s a good time. It’s a very toxic environment. I had to remove my kid because they allow middle schoolers to smoke vapes with no consequences and one of the staff members was so rude to my child and she’s only 11. My child came home crying because the summer camp lady spoke her with so much disrespect and foul language. It’s truly a terrible toxic community center and I wish there were more community centers that actually look out for the kids and parents and not there for a check. They should just get rid of it already, it isn’t beneficial to anyone."
"Meeting place for senior citizens living nearby. Formerly 50th police precinct, unknown if there are holding cells inside."
"Went there to volunteer at their food pantry and loved it. Even though I did struggle to get inside of the building itself instead of putting us to work straight away they gave us some insight about the place as well as a tour. The pantry was messy but fixed in the end and we got to take a few items from it with us. Great place and offers a lot of programs for its community."
