Reviews of TADA! Youth Theater
"Hi Good Morning, I haven't had the pleasure of going as of yet. I wanna bring my 6 year old grandson to be apart of the musical and also to come and enjoy the theater.. thank you and have a wonderful and blessed day."
"Anne Being Frank was absolutely fabulous. The lead and solo actress carried the heavy weight of the well known path of Anne Frank with a youthfulness and depth of character normally expected of a full cast and ensemble but not always achieved on stage. The character(s) she portrays across the woven timeline of the show transport the audience and make the experience hauntingly relatable. Go see it while you can!"
"Daughter had a great time learning a new play every week and performing it at the end of the week. Great way to fill up the summer days between sleep away camp ending and school beginning."
"My daughter recently auditioned for TADA’s resident youth ensemble program. She had taken TADA classes, which she loved. So she wanted a more ongoing experience with TADA through the ensemble program. She had auditioned before but the callbacks conflicted with a scheduled vacation. So she auditioned again. The initial audition was a few hours. Luckily she received a callback invitation, and auditioned again over two consecutive days, multiple hours per day. Though that might seem like a lot, my daughter was energized after each audition day (even after the longish train ride to home). She had fun each day. Per my daughter, the auditions were thorough, organized and lively. She also appreciated the staff at TADA. Though there were many kids, per my daughter, the staff were always kind, patient and fair. Overall, my daughter had a very positive experience auditioning for the ensemble program. Thank you, TADA!"
"My daughter started seeing shows at TADA! and attending their musical theater camps when she was in early elementary school. She loved the program so much, she asked to audition for their Resident Youth Ensemble so she could be in their shows. She didn't get in her first time. But she did eventually, and the program has been a lifeline for her throughout middle and high school, especially during COVID when she was stuck at home. Even then, TADA! found a way to bring kids together through theater with virtual classes and readings. We love how inclusive the program is, and the fact that it's not about making little Broadway babies, but about bringing kids together through a shared love of performance. The classes are great and there are scholarships for families who can't afford to pay full price. It's truly a life-changing program for kids who want to grow through musical theater."
