"Was extremely excited to come and do this class! However…my friends and I were extremely disappointed with the teachers lack of engagement with students, and just unpleasant body language. She looked like she was not happy to be there. When my friend asked for help she was thoroughly annoyed. Just a shame since we all paid to be there, and all paid for baby sitters, and honestly couldn’t wait to leave. Waste of money this evening!"

"This was my first class at Pinot's Palette in Montclair and I had an absolute blast. Everything you need to know about the class itself is on the website and I registered seats for myself and my friend. When we arrived, all the canvases, paint, brushes, paper towels, cups with water, plastic smocks, etc were already out and neatly placed. We were guided to our seats and got settled in. We got a little lucky with seating and got placed directly in front of the instructor and her easel. They also have little cubbies to place your bags. They had a whole section with ice, wine glasses, cups, etc for your drinks. It was all clean and organized. The music they played was great and I was glad that it was turned down slightly when our instructor, Jenny I believe, would speak. Jenny guided us step by step with our paintings. She was absolutely amazing - very clear and direct. If any of us had issues with our painting or wanted advice, she would help u, no problem. There was another guide, Monica, who would also help us and she made sure to show the painting around the classroom so everyone would get a chance to see what we should be doing. Overall, this was an amazing experience and was so much fun. I took a picture of my painting for reference. If you don't consider yourself an artist (neither do I), this class made me feel like one! Definitely worth a try."

"My Bookclub held an event here and although we had a wonderful time together! The instructor was moving very quickly through the process. We still had fun. Would have given them 5 stars but the instructor and her quick instruction knocked one off"

"Very good experience, must try if you have some time. Good for all ages, you don't need to know anything about painting to join the class. Bit expensive but fair enough, you don't have to bring anything and you get a nice painting. Parking is bit hard to find, there is street parking around the building and also a public parking nearby. Would definitely visit again for more experience!!"

"The space is cozy and conveniently located. Parking isn’t a huge issue but you have to be prepared to walk a block or so. I signed up to paint a moon picture and the confirmation clearly said Glowing Moon, but when I got there they said we were painting a sun. Luckily I had white so I made my own version of a Moon. I’ve been to other paint & sip places and the vibe was definitely different. The staff wasn’t as friendly or helpful as other places."
