Great Oak Park

"Parking lot construction going on far too long. Not ending in 2023."

"Haven’t been here in about 3 years, was shocked that this park is not really maintained any longer. The parking lot off of Doty Rd. is closed, although the sign says it was to be used as a construction yard until November 2022. It’s September 2023… The trails were overgrown with deep tracks from vehicles and the signage for the trails were broken and/or missing. It was always a bit rough, having been a pool then a skate park, however I remember it being more peaceful."

"An interesting plot of land that used to house a public pool (converted to a skate park) and has several short paths and a dog park. If you're local it's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't make a large trip out of it."

"I like fishing there. It's close for me and you can catch pike, perch, bass and carp."

"Quiet. Very relaxing. Excellent for a little, easy trail with nature. Great place to just disconnected from the busy day and have a moment with yourself."
