"Most of the vegetable and fruits are fresh. You can buy fresh bean sprout only here unless you go to a Japanese supermarket in midtown, and it's fresh compared to the one there. Nice to have in the neighborhood!"
"I love the workers ! Such Great management. I love the environment whenever I come into this Deli. I can't wait to get my weekly things!! Thank you for such an amazing experience."
"Horrible horrible horrible cashier!!! The asian woman who checks out the groceries - she may be the owner as well- has the WORST customer service ATTITUDE ever !!!!!!!!!!! I noticed she was treating this old senior customer in front of me with CONTEMPT and RUDE remarks when he asked her why she is charging her wrong amount and additional bag charges. Instead of offering a clarification with kindness to the old man, she almost yelled at the person and gave stink eye with a huge sigh. The items are also OVERPRICED. This cashier lady shouldn't work there until she goes through a. proper training and reflection how her behaviors are not acceptable. Stay away from this store if you believe people should be treated with dignity and respect regardless of their age or income level!!!"
"Excellent place to shop without the place getting too crowded. The prices might be slightly expensive but they are of good quality. I went to see if they sold muffins but they don't make them anymore. I read a comment from a so called Hispanic they in this place they profile so and it's not true as I'm Hispanic myself, and the people catering to you are Asian and Mexicans."
"Nice, clean and usually friendly. Just referred this place to neighbors. However, I tried to buy a salad this am, but all of the salads were going bad (brown, soggy and wilted). No problem, it happens. But I asked a worker for a fresh one. He told his co-worker in Spanish that he wasn't going to stop what he was doing (Btw, yes I understand Spanish), then he rudely told me, "No, come back later." Great customer service would have been, "Sure. Give me a few minutes and I'll take care of it." Good customer service would have been, "I'm sorry. We're shorthanded this am. Is it possible to come back later? I'll have it fresh for you." His customer service was mean, abrupt, and nasty. But hey, no problem. This is New York. Corner stores are everywhere; even nice, clean, and friendly ones."
